Hi. If you were to do this plane with a 4 stroke , what engine and prop would you use ?

I used a APC 17X10 on mine (same engine) with excellent results. Hits about 120 mph level flight and has plenty of thrust.

Yes it is a great performer and the faster it goes the better it flyes, like its on rails. I'll have some flight videos posted soon.

Is there a spinner available to accommadate a 3 blade prop?

I haven't see a messerschmitt style but you can get a 5 1/2" aluminum spinner from truturn like the p-51 style
