a lot of people don't eat crevalles. I don't know why they're not bad at all. It has a distinct taste to it but it's still a good eating fish. Throw some herbs and lime and you got yourself a nice meal. I never throw them back, either I make'm bait or dinner one or the other but they get used.
Cut off a hand sized piece and put it out there for a monster tarpon!
I love catching jacks, but its either hit or miss..I love when I'm lucky enough to have a school of em hangin around the beach, very fun w/ light spinning rods.
Good video! I caught one of those cravalles yesterday after the storm too. Saw a small school and he nailed a lure on the first cast! Keep runnin that dog! Happy bait!

The little red piece of rubber bands prevents the bait from slipping too far down on the Hook - Jeff
