GG, This was from the HEART. U showed ur emotions. U miss ur Dad & feel his presence watching /attending because u watched/are watching with him. Yes, NBC made big mistakes & they made them with U. Had to hurt! It's a new dawn with their realization & a new birth this March. I never missed not seeing Conan this month. I'd go back 2 see JAY in a MINUTE! Seems like your wish will come true. NBC is returning Jay to his original spot and just wait for the ratings and advertising bonanza. You're dedication to Jay is such a parallel to my dedication to Conan. I'm from NY where Late Night used to be, and I miss being able to go to taping. However, I think Conan more than deserved the Tonight Show spot that was honestly never given to him. He's been so loyal to NBC and all they've really done is treat him the the step child.

I honestly think Jay's time has passed.

I always got the impression that Conan got the tonight show because he wanted it, or would leave nbc.. I would have helped him pack..  what they asked of Jay was wrong IMHO, but classey guy that he is, he went along and gave nbc the chance to see the errors of their ways.. Do you every read popular mechanics?? He has a column in there every month about cars.

Thank you ... Jay is classsy didn't want to leave . They wanted him to retire... but found out he would just go to another network so the put him at 10... He was doing a great job. It worked... CRAZY!
