@john1112371 yes, it will down them. It only kills if they are out of downs (you can be downed 3 times before dying when the crimson omen is full).

@Heyibangedyourmom No you can't. But if you spot them before they go into smoke or before a smoke explodes it'll be very effective because you'll know where they are through the smoke until the make disappears.

don't know if you know this or not but on mercy there's a glitch that I noticed that gets annoying because what happens is where your friend got the triple kill the tree can "catch" the grenade and stop it as in it won't fall and it'll explode in a useless area.

@Munekqito I would recommend starting at a sensitivity in between high & low & adjusting it. I don't think it is good to tell you a sensitivity. If it personal preference. I will say that as you become more experience you will be able to use higher sensitivities which can be very helpful because it is quicker. Experiment yourself & find out what you are comfortable with. Personally I used 20-17-15. That is just right now though, I am still getting comfortable with Gow3 sensitivity.

hey spev, not to be rude but that first guy u used a smoke on by sniper on sandbar almost downed u. and he wasnt even trying to kill u. plus ur really good at gears, so for the no so great players, wont it be even harder? even with practice. i mean theres not many spots in the game that ppl would be in where theres no cover they can clip to and nowhere to run where u can catch em off guard. u showed gridlock and other things, but im skeptical about the sandbar thing

Hey, what do you suggest for look speed/turn speed/zoom speed?

@insid3out I would suggest look FOR SURE on 20, it will allow you to turn around quickly & look around fast which is a must. The next 2 you should work on for yourself & try to find something that you are comfortable with. Put on some settings & try them for a couple matches, if you find the are too slow, or too high for you, adjust until you hit your sweet spot.

I don't think sawed off and retro are bad or OP either. If anything, I think perfect active Lancer is OP. It's accurate, short to get perfect reload, and is able to down up to 3 people with the 50 or so bullets in one mag. I know, I've done it multiple times in King of the Hill. Still though, I don't complain about it, just think it's more OP than the short mag crazy recoil retro.

It's called "liquid" or "liquid metal" and is actually the rarest camo you will probably see online, which is another reason why I got the season pass other than I save 33% on all the DLC's that will come out during the game.

@GoWPopShotz people complain about the sawed off, retro, OP weapons, etc. I think people are quick to forget the lag, host advantage, & glitches of Gears 1 & 2. The game has been out for 1 week & is great. Remember when Gow1 & 2 were first released their first weeks? It was a joke. You have to work around the weapons like sawed off & retro. I'm sure EPIC might make a few changes like 5 round execution or an update on the sawed off range. Be patient & enjoy the game with friends.

@Spev624 rod fergusson already said that there's absolutely nothing wrong with the sawed off, it's easy to say the game is functional when playing randoms, but I played in a scrim against some semi-pro teams from GN, and it was probably the gayest thing I've ever had to do, ever, lancer is really OP, and definitely needs to be toned down. I'll probably go back to Black Ops because at least CoD is consistent.
