  • It would have been better if Mitch Rouse would have not sold Supershuttle to a French company. Back when I worked in the business, it would have been foreign to ever hear a driver with an accent other than one than originated in the the USA. So deal with it, when you turn over an "honorable profession" to a bunch of pseudo taxi drivers who, much of the time, can't even speak proper english, so be it. That is what ground transportation in LA had evolved into. Glad I got out 15 years ago.

  • I don't understand- why not quit and get a more desirable job/workplace?

  • I informed my management that I wanted to join a health club - a LA FITNESS opened up near my house - I felt I didn't get any support from them. Right now I having a severe cash flow problems and I know some who died from a heart attect while on duty.

  • If you haven't already heard, a SuperShuttle van was involved in a crash in Washington DC and a passenger was killed. Who will be the next victim before our government steps in and forces SuperShuttle to stop making drivers work themselves to death?

  • How very sad. This is what happens to America when people vote for Republicans. No regulations and the middle class is reduced to serfdom. Is it worth it? Are people that selfish that they swallow Republican talking points and vote against their neighbors and their own interests? Are they so afraid that someown, somewhere is stealing "their" taxes and getting something "for free?" I once was proud of the US--I'm now ashamed. Wake up--Tea Party fools, you want your country back?--vote Democratic

  • @somersetdc: This issue has been going on for many years and you cannot blame Republicans or Democrats. Both political parties bare responsibility. The bottom line is that SuperShuttle is compromising drivers' lives, their families' well being, passenger and public safety.

  • You need to see SS-Miami home base. At least half the vans on the small lot are no longer in service and used for parts. I on a commissions pay straight 27%. Sometimes I am forced to wait for a long time for a van since there are not enough for all drivers. Many drivers mght leave for the day after a certain time have passed - for me 45 minutes to an hour.

    SS SCREWED AND I WANT REVENGE ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !

  • IM MISSING TALKING TO YOU GUYS... COME AND JOIN ME AT FACEBOOK....

( SUPER SHUTTLE AMERICA SLAVE ) JOIN ME FREE KISSES FOR ALL

  • @sexyblueshuttle I was a driver for SS-Miami and I am so angry with the crap SS treated me - I all ready your facebook page and joined for one reason - I WANT REVENGE ! ! ! !

  • SUPER SHUTTLE GUYS WE HAVE THE POWER TO WAKE UP NOW. ALL TOGETHER WE CAN BE STRONG. NOW IS THE TIME TO SHOW EVERYBODY WAKE UP. SUPER SHUTTLE U MADE IT. NOW U WILL FEEL IT

  • This statement makes you think they have a maintenace barn for their vans which they don't. Heck the dispatcher at PT pissed me off because he always was talking shit about my sister. I kicked his ass 2 times in junior high for it. Now being older I let words roll and die. I've tried getting him fired from PT because he is incompetent.

"Owner-Operators have the complete support of PRIME TIME SHUTTLE'S operation facility."

  • OK I've posted what I got. Seems like Prime Time is trying to lure SS drivers away, but its the same bait and switch type of contract.

  • About the Opportunity

Today, PRIME TIME'S Owner-Operators form the core of our driving staff. An Owner-Operator, with their vested interest in our business, provides a higher level of service than the typical employee driver. It has to do with the pride-in-ownership that goes along with being an Owner-Operator.

  • Owner-Operators have the complete support of PRIME TIME SHUTTLE'S operation facility. A new Owner-Operator goes through a comprehensive training program and quickly becomes an expert in airport operation and customer service.

  • Contrary to what many people think, previous airport transportation experience is not a key element in making a successful Owner-Operator. Some of our most successful Owner-Operators have come from completely different fields. We have former teachers, police officers, business people of all types and even doctors who own their own vans and drive for PRIME TIME SHUTTLE. What they have in common is a desire for independence and a love for both driving and interacting with people.

  • As a PRIME TIME Owner-Operator you are in business for yourself, but not by yourself. An small investment is required, as low as $3,000, to become an Owner-Operator and a good income is available to all who enjoy people and driving.

  • Responsibilities * Customer Service - Providing great customer service * Timeliness - Being On-Time picking up passengers * Cleanliness - Keeping your vehicle clean and maintained.

Benefits * Set your own hours - The more you work the more you make. * Good customer service turns into better tips.

  • I was still glad contract law allow me 3 days to get out of the contract, because the guy who said I received my TCP license said "Oh are they allowing you to do that now?" I said "guy you better realize that law has been in place for a long time." I would like to know how much you had to put up as a down payment. I'll what I received in email here.

  • Guys whatever you do, do not go to Yelp, but the Ripoff report and post your grievances there. Just make sure you use facts. Don't call PT and SS management crooks. We all know what they about, and you'd have to defend that statement in court. BlueChip I sent you what I paid for my franchise at PT, and its peanuts to what you guys at SS have to pay.

  • I wonder how SuperShuttle managers can live with themselves knowing that what they do is purely EXPLOITATION? Do they rationalize to themselves that drivers can just leave, go somewhere else if they don't like it? It's not so easy when each drivers invested their money in SuperShuttle, and end up with nothing, while the company makes MILLIONS OF DOLLARS at their expense. The public needs to be aware of what goes on. SuperShuttle managers need to grow balls and stop living in denial!

  • Now you know why each driver must fill up each van to maximum capacity. It's not the driver's greed, it's corporate greed. Does SuperShuttle management care? What have they done for drivers lately? Require each driver to not speak to the media? Not post comments on the Internet? What is SuperShuttle management afraid of? Simple drivers making videos that tell the truth? Or is SuperShuttle management protecting their asses to keep their paychecks coming in at the expense of drivers and families?

  • Before I forget, the public should know this, SuperShuttle charges their drivers $162 per week for COMMERCIAL LIABILITY INSURANCE that is available on the FREE MARKET for approximately $63 per week. So, they make $100 in excess from each driver per week! This amounts to $21,000 per week or $100 X 210 LA/OC so-called "franchises"! Speaking of SCAM and RIPOFF!!! Does the driver's contract allow for each franchise to buy their own insurance? NO!!!

  • Does SuperShuttle really think their drivers are weaker today? They perhaps may be more tired than ever because they wait in lines at LAX longer than ever, while the competion scoops up the passengers. But the drivers are stronger because they have awaken from the dead. They know that justice is on their side. They will prevail in the end. People like Wier, Gleach, Avanto, Shahab, and other managers will eventually lose their jobs. Can Veolia continue to allow such a public relations nightmare?

  • The truth is that this issue will not go away. Already the LA City Council has discussed the issue, LAX management is coverying their ass by interviewing drivers on camera. Why? Because they know that our videos were the "FIRST SHOT ACCROSS THE BOW." and someone is accountable at the end of the day. So, who will be the first to get the AXE?

  • Prime Time isn't much better. They screw their drivers too.

  • It is time to go on strike

  • guys! I have posted a new video about the supershuttle...............I'd like you all to watched. and leave your comments please.

  • new videos

  • Please see comments on my the BlueChip 696 channel that verify SuperShuttle exploitation.

  • Is SuperShuttle on the "slippery slope" of MONOPOLY? How will the public and SuperShuttle customers be better served when there is no COMPETITION to hold SuperShuttle's "feet to the fire"? Shouldn't the Los Angeles City Council consider whether the public is best served by a company that has a track record of disregard for PUBLIC HEALTH when awarding city and LAX contracts?

  • There is an old maxim “Money makes the Mare (pony) go,” it has been changed to “Money makes the Mayor (chief exec of city) go.”

American “Democracy is becoming “The Mockery” Off the people, Buy the people, Far the people.

Hey LAWA - do you think Super Shuttle will create some middle class jobs? No sir they will create more slaves all these small business will be forced into slavery ; (17 hour work days with no bathroom facility) and its all your fault. Where is your conscious anyway?

  • Latest News: Super Shuttle is offering to buy out all the smaller van companies at SNA, John Wayne airport. Meeting is at 1400 hours on Sat at a hotel across from SNA) After this video one would think that LAWA would revoke their PSC (staging rights) at LAX, or at least investigate them; instead they a are helping them become a total monopoly in L A County! Super Shuttle already has a near monopoly at LAX, complete monopoly at Ontario Airport, and now monopoly at SNA?

  • @MrCoach0616 : I'm interested to know what SuperShuttle offers to the companies at SNA. Are they willing to offer $750K per company? Or do they think they can trade a worthless franchise for one company? One thing is certain, anyone buying a SuperShuttle franchise will break their back working to pay the overpriced SuperShuttle fees. One example is the exhorbitant insurance fees of $162 per week, regardless of whether you have no accidents or tickets. Or $100 airport fees.

  • Hahahahahahha

  • Summary:

Union Pacific railroad and all California Gold mine is a silent witness of Chinese "Slavery" in the past. Do Chinese came in US by force: "NO", they came voluntarily, they came base on advertisement made by U.S. Corporate. Unfortunately back then there was weak Labor Law in US. Now US have proper Labor Law, so how to get a cheap labor? Well U.S. still has weak Franchise Law. My friend THAT'S THE LOOPHOLE SUPERSHUTTLE USE. Sweet trap with no way out, want to quit? bye-bye investment

  • Comparison:

In China at Opium War era / United States Gold Rush era. There were recruitment story in China by US Company. The propaganda is working in United States for Mountain of Gold, back then at Gold Rush era. US Company promote that there are Gold Mountain in US for Chinese worker to mine. From these they can recruit cheap labor, once the labor arrive in US, they are practically helpless and it's up to the corporate to exploit them and end up work for minimum of everything. Continue

  • Continue:

BUT there some hideous agenda that corporate won't tell and that's the reason why they would prefer to franchise it instead of hire driver employee or do commission base driver. To get revenue of $500.-/day you end up work 17 hours or sometime more. Now a day it's even harder I often see driver go home with only $200-$300 revenue after 17 hours which is practically they work for free for Supershuttle Corporate. That's how we call it Corporate slave CONTINUE

  • Continue:

The reason behind all UF decide to do this business might came from propaganda that Corporate promote as well as estimate that UF revenue averagely $500/day + Gratuity that will cover the fuel cost which is looks very tempting to invest. Even with all Corporate Cut of 25% from the revenue + addition mandatory operational fee that reach $860/week, the investment abiut $40k still worth to put on the bet. Continue

  • I heard that Baba Joen was fighting with Joe 696 at the company, I think baba whatever he likes to be a company slave . good for him.

  • I hared that Egg-roll Avanto is coming to the holding lot at LAX to try the toilets by him self, to prove to the his boss Jim Bleach that these toilets are very clean and even he is using them. isn't this a grate thing.

  • @SuperShuttleSlave

Let's see if he has the Moxie. Maybe Jim Bleach will get his suit wet?

  • @SuperShuttleSlave

Hi I was a Prime Time driver for one day, and I can tell you those outhouses sucked.

  • @rip2shred

PrimeTime insiders have informed me that the owner has little regard for his drivers and exploits them as SuperShuttle does. That is why SuperShuttle and PrimeTime drivers need an association that fights for their human rights and dignity. Isn't time for a change?

  • we need a supershuttle drivers day off , where every driver stay home for that day . think about it..

  • I feel very sorry for all the drivers, because they are working their ass off and not getting paid for the hours they work.

  • I'm not pro theluv4knowledge for what he say basically take it or leave it thing. But I am afraid that I should agree that "none of the problem exposed on the video violate the contract" and it's true all Unit Franchise became SS driver base on free will and they should read and study before signing the contract. HOWEVER. There some code of ethic and basic human right that should follow disregard if it's written or not onside the contract. TO BE CONTINUED IN A COUPLE HOUR

  • Blind cannot see, but they can feel; a morally blind can neither see nor fee. theluv4knowledge you are morally bankrupt, no good can be expected from you.

  • RETALIATION 101: Two days after the release of this video, Super Shuttle (fired) terminated franchisee agreements of the producer as well as the host without any compensation – they lost all of their equity ($25,000) in the franchise. Super Shuttle will sell each franchise for $50,000.00 and repeat the process – find another excuse to fire the next guy. What a ---- business model!

  • @MrCoach0616

Heck I only lost $2000 for my Prime Time franchise. I also want to see the CPUC try cashing the $1000 check for the TCP license, I've put a stop payment on it. LMAO!

  • I am not sure who this Igor Avanto person is nor Jim Bleach (which sounds like his name is being mocked as well), but really, its not them. I just wanted to give my opinion, that's all. Good luck with your rights.

  • I see theluv4knowledge (Igor Avanto) is here, driving a taxi is a good idea but what is even better is fighting supershuttle to get our rights, this is America.

A question to you Egg-Roll Avanto what if we faced the another problem when t move to the Taxi what should we do you smart Egg-roll ha.

A Free Man should all-ways stand and face his problems and solve it , and not leave it and run a way like a slave, a slave as your master Jim Bleach wants us to be Igor Avanto. or Egg-roll.

  • Just observations from my part. Comparing bathrooms (which are provided) to those of the taxis just seems that working for the taxi company is better. Instead of complaining why not just go work as a taxi driver.

  • I think theluv4knowledge is paid agent for Super Shuttle. What is the justification of portable toilets in a permanent 24x7 operation? One can understand if this was a construction site, or a small bus stop in Mexico, this is an international airport, the seventh largest in the world; it is operational 24x7. These temporary toilets have been in this place for six years or more - what can be a possible justification?

  • I also noticed that a contract was shown on the video. Nobody makes anybody sign a contract in America unless its done within their own free will. So is it really corporate slavery, or is it stupidity on ones part for signing the contract? The contract looks long enough to explain what one is getting themsleves into.

  • As much as corporate greed is in existance, this video does not really prove corporate slavery. What I see is a whole bunch of whiny men trying to get their way. First, it would be more believable if there was a line for those four Andy Gumps. Secondly, is it that hard to aim paper towels into the trash cans or toilets? You talk about drivers having dignity, but yet the video shows that drivers don't know how to clean up after themselves. Where is their dignity?

  • @theluv4knowledge:

How in the world are "a whole bunch of whiney men trying to get their way" in the video? Decent bathrooms or a safe and healthy work environment isn't unreasonable to ask for. And, when LAX and SuperShuttle management knew about the holding lot conditions and that a video was being made, they ignored every request. What excuses do they have?

  • Do We live in United States? Well looking at what happening I beleve, I stay in a country without (FREEDOM SPEACH) Dont talk and dont say anything coz will cost ur life and living... WE ALL BELEVE IN GOD, UNITED WE STAND BLESSING AMERICA

  • The fired guys from LA can look for assistance with ACLU.

  • I was a dispatcher for Supershuttle and I quit 6 months ago. Management is horrible and drivers were not the only ones mistreated there!

  • Leonard Davis's Van? His body fluids had seeped into seats and crevices of the van, van was declared a bio hazard and discarded. What worries me is who is next. There are many older people who sleep/live in their vans. Who knows when one may have a heart attack or a stroke.

  • FIRED??? FOR WHAT? WHAT IS THE REASON FIRING THEM?

  • MOST OF THE DRIVERS THAT CAME OUT ON THE VIDEO WERE FIRED!!!!! THIS MUST END AT ONCE!

  • Thanks, and sorry we had failed you, but the drivers hesitation must stop NOW

    .

  • Thanks, and sorry we had failed you, but the drivers hesitation must stop NOW.

  • I bet Super Shuttle sued the relatives of Leonard Davies for 2 Weeks of outstanding Fees and cleaning of the Van !!!

I used to drive for Shuttletrack in the early 90s and we used to envy you guy's.

  • More thing will show soon, I know someone Who have a lot of info, about people who manage LA super shuttle, hope He show u guys and look Who do u have as a Managers and who rule ur family living and provide food on the table... I guess corporate don;t really know what He has to say//// :)

  • I think the upper management did not know how bad things were.

    a slave

  • I think the upper management did not know how bad things were.

    bero

  • Respond to this video... will this massage fiend an ear to listen, an eye to see, and a human-bean to do something about it. will we can wait and see.

    one of the Slaves

  • Here we go buddy, you should send this to Phoenix. So far, the corporate play deaf, let see if they play blind as well. Do you think human right shall see this as well?

  • I SUPPORT OUR DRIVERS
