One of the Smoothest Standup coaster II have ever rode,,,Sinse Kentucky Kingdom is closed now, I wish Kings Island would purchase this coaster to replace there standup coaster King Cobra.....
@jamwell212 Its already open at Great Adventure, where it belongs. Six Flags wouldn't sell this when they can just take it down and build it in an empty space that belonged to an old coaster that was taken down because it was a hazard to keep running. Great Adventure needed a new good coaster. Kings Island just got Diamondback (2009) and Firehawk (2007). Great Adventure's last new big coaster was El Toro in 2006.

It is sad what is happening to this park, however you do stand a really good chance to do some great work. We all know there is going to be ride replacement. Here are just a couple of my Ideas, you can have them for free lol.
The Giant Ferris Wheel, Breakdance, and Greezed Lightning should all go to Six Flags Over Georgia. They dont have a Ferris Wheel and it would look nice in the old Free Fall spot, esp with a nice L.E.D. light upgrade... Breakdance because there is not many Flat Rides at SFOG! Finally Greezed Lightning becuase Deja Vu is gone and now there is no reverse coaster in park. Plus the Coaster in a sense would be returning HOME...
My last ideas would be for Chang, Twisted Twins, and some water slides move to The Great Escape. The Great Escape is a great park, but lacks alot of good rides that would be even better in that parks setting. Like taking Chang putting it behind the wave pool, Comet area and calling it Sasquatch. Twisted Twins would go good in the Nightmare area of Ghost town. Unfrotunatly some bad decsions have been made in that area of the park!!! Which used to be the best area. PlEASE THINK ABOUT IT!!!
they tore down chang to expand the water park lol.. that is the gayest and stupidest move you can ever make, chang is the biggest attraction at SFKK, they are gonna lose alot of customers.. they trying to compete with holiday word in Santa claus indiana, which i think is stupid
Hey, that's weird...the front of the car look JUST LIKE the Georgia Scorcher! Same colors too...maybe it's cause they are both stand-up's, but still, that makes me mad.
i heard that in 2011 this is going to be moved to six flags great america, but we've already got a b&m stand-up coaster there, so they better add, like, floorless trains to it or something (if they do move it to great america.)

As we can see just from this rumor, cause it has not been confirmed. That this would be a TERRIBLE MOVE FOR SIX FLAGS. They need to learn you gotta keep your unusual rides. And stop putting in rides that every park has. Make us wanna travel to different parks....

They may be removing Chang because Kentucky Kingdom might close down. If thats the case than they are probably removing their best ride so it does not get scrapped. Because if an amusement park removes their best coaster thats not a good sign.
If Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom does get rid of Chang they are no doubt going to go out of business. Why does Six Flags Great America need Chang? They already have a B&M Stand-Up coaster. If it does get removed it should go to Six Flags America in Maryland.
I was thinking the exact same thing, this is their signiture coaster. Plus being that B&M no longer makes stand-up coasters most place are trying to hold onto them. If they do remove a ride to expand the water park it should be Thunder Run. It is right by the water park and the space would alow for a nice upgrade to that section of the park.
but i totally agree with you MynameisTitus13. T2 it would be hard for them to find a home for unless they sold it, they already have an SLC floating around in the chain from the TX park that closed. It was at The Great Escape for a couple years just sitting across the street in a lot. and now they moved it to their park up by Canada

I agree, they need to get rid of the we dont want fair rides. U gotta remember that in most places the fair comes once a year. So why not take the best flat rides you can find and mix them around in the park, with great music. You will keep people in the park interested and not leave halfway through the day...
There are only 2 parks in VA which are Kings Dominion and Busch Gardens, plus Six Flags in Maryland but I have been to those 3 parks soooo many times.

Totally agree with you, I would like to see them build up The Great Escape. It is a great lil park with a nice setting. It has just been pooped on for years. Except when they got the hotel/water park. But even then that really does not help the park cause you gotta get a room to enjoy it lol....
In my opinion the Intimidator 305 (the coaster KD is getting) does not look good. Its nothing but turns. I think the Millennium Force is better. KD's new ride is not supposed to replace a coaster....i don't think.
Yeah it does look like a lame layout. I do think MF will still be better. But I would rather ride Bizzaro at SFNE anyday over both MF, and intimidator... That coaster is the perfect example that you dont need height to have a kick butt ride ;-)
I like Bizzaro better, so thas the first thing we have not agreed on. I feel like this about MF great first drop inlto the overbank, then blaaaahhh u know. I need a rush during the whole ride and i get bored on MF with all those overbanks... but thas just my opinion. ;-)

really? where did you hear that? thats a good thing they discontinued them cuz they're very painful on your calves in your legs. the mantis made my legs sore for the rest of the day, and this doesn't look any better. B&M can do waaaay better than these
Act. if you wanna be tech. Changs drop is 2 the left, and the Mantis drop is to the right. The coasters act. go into the inversions in different directions from each other. The parks dont copy each other yes they do rival each other and want the biggest and baddest coasters, and the manufactures know this and make millions off of it. B&M did it with Chang Mantis and Riddler. Then Intamin with TTD, and Kingda Ka. So as long as a ride is popular and reliable U will see it at several parks.
this is just a copy of mantis at CP. that's all six flag parks do is copy cp ideas and make the rides an inch taller and smidge faster. Six flags sucks in every way shape and form. Cedar fair parks are 100 times better.
Well.......Six Flags no longer owns this park (from what I've heard)......The KY fairgrounds own it now and are trying to decide on what to do with it. If re-opened, it won't be Six Flags........I agree with the Cedar Fair comment you made. Since they bought Carowinds from Paramount, Carowinds (in Charlotte) is much better than Six Flags over GA
