Last time I checked the Cardinals were home on the golf course, while the Phillies were riding in the GREATEST VICTORY PARADE this country has ever seen.
yes they are on the golf course enjoying their 2nd most world series titles ever. its been 3 years since we won. WOW. you have to rebuild it. philly wont win for at least another 5 you'll see even with the same team. we'll be back for #16 what what what best fans in baseball
That Cardinals team from several years ago was the worst WS champ in my lifetime...and I'm 49. If they were in any other divsion they wouldn't have even been close to making the playoffs. They would've finished a distant third in the NL East and the Phillies beat the hell out of them that year. Talk about a fluke. BTW, this Phils club is young so get used to us challenging for more titles over the next five years.
yeah thats why they ran through the "best teams in baseball" that year consecutively, the Mets and the Tigers who were the favorites to win the world series that year. phillies couldnt touch the mets that year and cards beat them to get to the ws. noone said philly was a bad team they were great last year and deserved it but they arent going to win for a while. sorry. and young as you say but 1/2 the team will be gone with 2 years watch.

I skiped school and drove four hours to go to philly for the parade.
Absolutly amazing.
Phils are FINALLY on top.
