I love the imagery of the video showing Waiting for Godot since a theme is the characters' craving or desire for something unattainable, in this case Godot. It really fits the music particularly the little dance during the instrumental, the hat swapping bit and the final scene of Estragon and Vladimir waiting once again. :D
Attention, record companies: fuck your ads. I reject your hustling me to fatten your bank accounts at the expense of my attention while you try to squeeze every drop of money out of me you can for music.
this is the song that got me thorugh high school, i was the only gay kid and felt alone and she is obviosuly gay and i felt her pain and word in this vid, it was like a video i should have made in high school lol.
@stefanybody (((Hugs))) to you. I'm not gay but know what it's like to be the "outsider". ;) There will always be judgmental people, surround yourself with the good folks, they are out there. =)
@bdub24j Yes. And where would we be without that escapism? Music, the universal language, allows us to go back and re-experience what was important to us then and gives us the ability to re-live it now. From a time when uncertainty seemed to be the flavor of the day and emotional surrealism was the safest place to be...
Thankyou for posting this. Like the Ministry song you posted this takes me back a few years as well. This song reminds me of a lot of good things back in the day.

Just extraordinary all the way around. The song, her passion, the cinematography. Best black and white film/video I've ever seen.

Funny how some songs can stick with you in a comforting way during bad times, and even though it might remind you of them, you still listen.
The power of temporary escapism through music I guess.
