@cwmyr Nod were not the good guys - yes people mostly suffered but why ? mostly because of tiberium spread which in turn decreased crops(lack of fertile safe lnad ) so hunger and even more desperation ocurred -which in turn resulted in wars and civil unrest, destruction of infrastructure and etc - on top of it all all NOD members were brainwashed - if you showed ANY sign of doubt or self thinking you were killed - as shown in game cutscenes and etc and (without trial, abuse etc)
