I have a question.

Why do some cars slide to the side when doing a burnout ? Is it due to the power difference transfered to the wheels ?

I think it's the rear end trying to push around on the front end. Most guys have one foot on the brakes and one on the gas, so the rear end is constantly trying to overtake the front end. You use to wheel to control the direction you want to turn, which is harder than it sounds because they almost never want to go where you want them to. :)
