I think that it started years ago with the break down of the family unit when it became not so tabu to get a divorce. Society began to accept fathers not being around and single parent house holds.The children of those divorced parents did'nt see such a need to get married before pregnancy. I am a Black man raised in America by two Black parents that came from low income neighborhoods in the southern United States. My parents taught me at an early age to speak clear intelligible English instead of affecting a southern colloquial. They encouraged literacy and scholarship more than they encouraged throwing a ball. By most accounts, I have had what would be considered a normal childhood. what passes for Black "culture" in this country would have us believe I am in fact, an anomaly.

I have one brother had a child with his GF, my brother went to court to get full custody of his child, his GF is irresponsible. What do you see as a solution to the irresponsibility that you see in the black community? Maybe education is the key? Get students to focus so hard on education, a career and their future, they are less likely to have children out of wedlock. Secondly, he will free millions of black men locked up for non-violent drug arrests, allowing them to return home. This will also help stop these guys from depending on drug money for income. I think that it started years ago with the break down of the family unit when it became not so tabu to get a divorce. Society began to accept fathers not being around and single parent house holds.The children of those divorced parents did'nt see such a need to get married before pregnancy. Whats the point with a 50+% divorce rate anyway. We lowered our morals and values and inturn lowered our standards when choosing a mate. I am white and have 3 children out of we lock. I am a Black man raised in America by two Black parents that came from low income neighborhoods in the southern United States. My parents taught me at an early age to speak clear intelligible English instead of affecting a southern colloquial. They encouraged literacy and scholarship more than they encouraged throwing a ball. When are we going to admit that America is a failed experiment? It doesn't matter that we were successful in the past, why were the past successes allowed to be ruined? If the system cannot protect its successes from predators in high places, then we have a failed experiment.
The only quick solution to this massive illegitimacy is to restore the male's role as breadwinner and the peer pressure to that end. FDR's New Deal job programs and TAXING THE HELL OUT OF WALL STREET will get it done!

i see this same crap on the train, tmot. Mothers lugging around their children, sometime 2 and 3 and 4, all around the same age. SHAME. I literally shake my head. I think I'll make a video about this too.

so how do you feel about adoption as a tool to better provide for the illigitamite child, or do you think it be better for a black child to be raised by its family of color as the adoptive parents ive network with seam to be all white i havent found one black family as of yet after searching through 86 profiles in a 300 mile radious

@tmotofga - Excellent vid. Both of my grandmothers made the same stupid choices that alot of women today make , so both of my parents grew up without a father. Im 21 and was raised by both my parents who are still married , and Im the only one out of 28 first cousins that has a dad who is still around. and I can honestly see the difference in myself , than some of my patnas and cousins who never had a father figure. Keep the vids coming , great wisdom

im 26 now when i was not working i did not even try to talk to women i have no kids yet waiting for marriage for that im a white guy and everytime i have talked to a white women on a date or when i first meet one they always ask me things like do i have kids where i live what i do for a living like a job if i have my own place to live and all of that my dad he passed away a few months ago at age 59 but was a vietnam veteran and would kicked my azz if i had a kid and did not takecare of it

I thank GOD that my husband was not one of the 70% he is talking about. im sick of black men and black women that need to check themselves. if you can't have the same instincts as a rat to care for your young until they can survive, you have no business having sex.
