This was continually a problem for Donnymid. So many contestants were cheated out of time and correct answers in the Winners Circle. I would curse the tv and throw things, it would make me angry, I finally stopped watching it. It was such a slap in the face to the original Dick Clark, Bill Cullen and John Davidson versions. I don't know what the producers were thinking. Now, CBS has snubbed Pyramid again and have given Julie Chen a daytime talk show instead of resurrecting our beloved Pyramid !

It what you would think of when you want to buy a good sandal that you can get wet & take canoeing, etc

Right at about 1:03 -- I can tell that Mo'Nique didn't like that waste of three seconds before the judges finally took "Characters From The Wizard Of Oz" because the contestant said the subject verbatim instead of simply the "essence".

Yeah, that was a problem. Regardless, she is a great clue-giver.

Mo'Nique was brilliant in this video. She would be a mainstay in the celebrity pool when Pyramid gets brought back.

But this clip shows a fatal flaw in Donnymid - the judges' ridiculous standards when it came to accepting given answers for subjects. I could not BELIEVE they wouldn't accept "Things from 'The Wizard of Oz'" for "Characters from 'The Wizard of Oz'". He said the key phrase - who cares if he didn't say "Characters?"

Donnymid is infamous for B.S. calls like this.
