Very insightful. I am very surprised there aren't lots of prosperous people who haven't gone Galt. There are very few, and I can't understand why people want to keep feeding the Beast. If our sense of purpose and dignity comes from the productive things we do, and government consistently punishes us for productivity, the only reason we keep producing is because we would drown in depression and despair if we didn't.
