One of my worst memories as a Longhorn fan. Such a frustrating game for Texas. Wazzou played great. The first of Vince Young's only two losses as a starter for the 'Horns.

God I loved that year. This defense was the shit. Acholonu and Issac Brown coming off the edges. Derting in the middle. Jason David, Karl Paymah, on the corners. Erik Coleman and Jeremy Bohanon at SS an FS. Aw how i miss those days.

If only we'd of won the Apple Cup and Dunning had hit that chip shot @Notre Dame, could've been national champs. We had a team that was capable of it that year, just a little cougin' it.

Derting was insane that night. No, he never made the NFL. Injuries wrecked his body and by the time he was a senior in '05, he struggled to stay on the field. Too bad, he was a hell of a football player.
