What a pathetic display by Yellin and CNN - reminiscent of Wolf Blitzer's outrage at Wikileaks for revealing secrets that the government hides from him and his colleagues. Like democracy, journalism is on its deathbed in the US. Mainstream corporate news media, aka "The Liberal Media" in some circles, are increasingly revealing themselves as tools of a plutocratic establishment. As I understand it, most media outlets are really careful when talking about people who have been accussed of a crime. They always say "alleged" murderer or "allegations of rape" or something like that, and for good reason! To do otherwise would be blatant slander and could get their asses into a heap of legal trouble! It doesn't seem like this Townsend woman ever got the memo about that. Pretty fucking basic shit right there.
