I was (and still am) a huge fan of the original version too~
You managed to capture the relationship of the three perfectly, creating a beautiful testament to both Arakawa and your own skills as an editor.
You are absolutely right, FMA will never die...I hadn't realised it had already been an entire year since it finished!
I hope you do well in the competitions you're entering, I'll be amazed if this doesn't win.
