I was there for the first time this year, it was AWESOME...I'll be back next year for sure. Bob was my son's favorite of the whole day...we were about half track and could still feel the heat!!
excellent video. my vid from the fence was spoiled by all the people bumping into me, it was soo crowded this year! In your video at one point it looks like it was snowing hot embers on the stands, were the embers burning anyone?
I can't believe he ran out of fuel!!! lol. I've been going to this since 96 and I've seen him burn the sign before, but man he gave it one heck of a toasting this year. The frame was starting to collapse! They should bring that one guy they had do it the past two years while he was injured and have them race. That would be fantastic. They did that once a while back

What a triumphant return. Its a shame he ran out of fuel on his final run but seeing him burn down the sign was so worth it.
