For the orange cross when you have the L shape instead of a dot or a line, put the L in the top left corner as usual and perform this algorithm- F, U,R,Ui,Ri,Fi that will get your cross straight away :p

Im sorry bcuz when i used my petroleum jelly it was on like those cheap rubik brand cubes so i just threw it away, i dont really know :( Next time stick with silicone products, some ppl say 3 in 1 silicone is good but ive heard bad stuff about it im not sure, so crc silicone, lubix, maru lube, they r all good products and theyre not very expensive either so goodluck!

eewwww! no, patroleum jelly will gum up your cube, it wears away at the plastic and eventually slows it down. Use a silicone-based lubricant, such as CRC silicone or even use jig-a-loo. google them.

This video is not very well made. The moves are just awkward and inefficient, especially for speed solvers, trying to then learn F2L, OLL, and PLL is pretty much impossible because there's no transfer of useable information.

If anyone is serious about cubing check out badmephisto's video. It's better made and much more transferable when learning more complex ways to solve the cube.

Umm Dan Brown please read this. Seriously. The fastest way to solve the Rubik's Cube is by using F2L, and 2-Look OLL and 2-Look PLL. Tell me if you do use F2L and 2-Looks algorithms.

There is a short cut for solving the top cross. However it only works it you have the L shape. You just need to do this algorithim (With the L facing to the right) Left face down, the top face to the Left the front face Clockwise, the top face to the right, the right face counterclockwise, and the left face up. Using this should get you to the cross.

Practice this method untill you can average sub 50. Then learn 2 look OLL and PLL. Practice this untill you can solve sub 40. Next you should learn F2L, and practice untill you can be sub 30. Finally, finish learning full OLL and PLL.
