Can anyone tell me why Germans keep on dubbing foreign movies. It sounds and especially looks redeculous! Subtitles will improve your English tremendously. I'm Danish, and my English is not anything near perfect, but I think that because Danish children grow up listening to English we naturally think of English as our second mothertounge.

@SchergeSatans As I said: It just seems overall ridiculous. I understand a little German, since we learn it at elementary school, too. My German is bad that's because Danish pupils hate German. But watching a James Bond film or some other foreign dubbed film or television on a German channel just make me want to cringe. Of course you're used to watching films this way, but you know it would be a whole lot easier (and less expensive ;) ) as well if you just used subtitles.

I want to ditto wzoz4U what wow said. I am 50 yrs old. So, I grew up with 007. Connery is definately up their on my list. But, Brosnan gives the charachter a bit of believable pinache.

Not the worst Bond movie, but one of the worst. The main problem of this film are overusing CGI effects and awkward ending similiar to 'superhero comics'. Older gentlemans may remember how bad and awful Moonraker, AVTAK and DAF were. So IMO not the worst Bond film ever created but also not the best.

Die Another Day had a few 'silly' scenes that really did'nt work but on the whole the movie was very entertaining and Pierce played 007 well. I would like to of seen a fifth Bond film with him perhaps with a little more realism added but they went far too far with Daniel Craig - they became BORING!

Loved the exotic ice scape. Brosnan was rocking it as Bond. Rosamund Pike was lovely, Toby Jones was excellent. The only fly in the ointment was writing in a larger part for Halle Berry in the 2nd half, and cutting down Bond's time. I didn't pay to see that woman do most of the work. And with her Yo Mama they hit rock bottom. But really, it's nowhere near the worst Bond flick ever. It's a great ride for the most part.
