It's great, but i think it has to be a little bit slower... trust me, i'm brazilian and i know what i'm talking about. but your performance was absolutely beautiful! congratulations!
@BelNemecsek96 Actually I disagree. I'm not Brazilian but I've been listening to all the youtube videos here of the piece. I play piano but not good. If you listen to the original recording that Chiquinha herself made (it's on youtube) you will hear that clavis55's rendition is very close to it. If you listen to the one that was done for the mini-series it is at least twice as fast as this one. Most of the ones on youtube are faster than this. I only found one that was slower and it was TOO slow
@clavis55. it is on youtube.com. I tried to paste the link but it wouldn't let me. Try putting this in: Chiquinha Gonzaga - Corta-jaca (1908-1912). It has a static photo of Chiquinha on it.
Extremely beautiful piece, I'm preparing to post it soon with my performance trying to reach the amazing performance of Arnaldo Cohen, which I'm already posting same on youtube, sure you'll enjoy it and discover some different notes than the sheet, but honestly he is better!
Anyway until posting this piece, I'd like you to visit my channel and watch my performances.
Thank you for this piece and all the others you play wonderfully ! Could you send us the score's references you played ? i didn't find one on the web. Regards. Bernard (Paris).

Great stuff! Now I know from where Milhaud got the tango which appears in Le Boeuf sur le toit. Or maybe Gonzaga got it from Milhaud?

It's very good to see that Chiquinha Gonzaga still alive, even in YouTube!
Congratulations for this version! It's awesome!!!
Can you play these other songs: Odeon, Floraux and Escorregando (Ernesto Nazareth) or Atraente and Abre-Alas (Chiquinha Gonzaga)?
These are excellent songs too!
Greetings from Brazil and congratulations for your channel!
