@grampamurdoc It like I said a little ways down yonder. Back in your day you could get a good-hearted woman. For us younger guys, ain't much hope of that. Ain't no more.
it makes me sad when i look at an amazing song like this and the views it has gotten and then i see the views that sucky music like lady gaga get. People dont understand great music anymore, its all about the flash and shiny.
im the live version of this song got out of prison 2002 met this lady that help me see the light so there are good hearted women out there just got to find them
@moviesforrandy Them there good hearted women are far fewer and far in between than they were back in Waylon's day. Just keep placin' your bets real careful and maybe you'll git one.
@itsMissMassMurderess No, a good-hearted woman is the complete opposite of a bitch - never a bitch, that's what makes the breed. By your comment I suspect you are bitchy though. Just realize that it is your place to support a man, in good times and bad.
@itsMissMassMurderess No, no, you're completely misunderstaning the breed again. A good-hearted woman wouldn't do anything like that. Furthermore, you seem to suffer from the errant perception that women are to be judged by the same standards, like some type of equality. This is completely false. Sure women should be equal in voting and what not, but when it comes to social issues, the standards are different. Good or bad, this is just the way things are.
@Harpenfarker i heard that. but i already know. i think i will visit tieland for a goodtime. american women just dont have a clue.parents dont raise their childred worth a dam anymore.
im 29 yrs old and i have listening waylon since i was about 6 id say. i never had a choice my parents partys was all you could hear. so many great songs!

A 'good hearted woman' is a submissive bitch, basically.
Daily beatings and verbal abuse should wear any strong willed whore down, buddy, try it.
