She's so sweet. You just can't help but like her. She even let the reporter ask her a question even though she had to go.
I think her and Scotty make a cute couple but if they're just friends that's cool too. They're still young so who knows, maybe in the future. :)

Don't try to think in complicated way like that!! If they said they are close friends, that means they are. Lauren does not hide anything, she's just joking around about boyfriend or dating or something because she knows the reporters and fans always care about that kind of thing.
Look at Scotty's interview, too. Does he look like he try to hide anythin? He answers honest and straight about their friend relationship!

you can tell that she doesn't want to keep their relationship a secret, cause she cares about him alot, and is excited about their relationship, but his publicist prolly wants him to keep in underwraps because hes a guy and most of his fan base are girls who like him and think theyre gonna get w/ him.
