Well i still play Hexen up to this day in my Saturn, i think i can talk about it more than you do. It is not a turn based game, but it's still an RPG. It's an action-RPG. I just said Hexen because sperz said this was like Doom, but it's more like Hexen for that matter.
hehe - I don't think it's supposed to be high-end in the visuals department on purpose. I think that was a design decision. This seems targetted at folks like me who played the old school titles like Bard's Tale I mentioned above. Though you're right - often these rehashes aren't fun - we'll see -waiting ona review copy.
Reminds me of the Doom RPG game for cellphones I played years ago. I loved that game.

I would recommend it. The game's simple, yet loads of fun and challenging at times. The characters are fun too. I highly recommend the game.
