no way. NOTHING beats the original. i don't think ANYONE can sing this better than oasis. leona's was alright in the first half, but i don't like it when she sang it on a higher pitch. really didn't like it. but yes, she is talented, and i DO love the first part of her cover, but no, she was nowhere near the oasis' level.

Im from Texas in the US, I have never heard of Leona Lewis until after I watched this vid of OASIS and started reading the threads below. Weve been jamming Oasis since I was shit like 12 or 13 and Im 28 . So ya OASIS is know all over and they kick ass and I watched "leonas' version and she has a good voice but I just couldnt get into the way she butchered this song . and the vid was weird like she turned it into some party girls love song about the guy she met at the bar last night it was gay

Their first album was at the time, the fastest-selling UK debut album, and their third album was the fastest selling UK album. Their second album won BRIT award's best album of 30 years. Leona sucks.
