You know I liked some of the visuals but most of the stuff with the models was not very good (and then I'm still beeing nice).

Video doesn't really do justice to the song.

But hell....I know you guys probably don't get the budget for what you would really want in a music vid.

I did however like the landscapes and the bit with the buildings was nice (should have been more of that in the vid).

I would hate to be the girl in that video. Ugh! I think all the worms and insects have to do with fear. "All my fears come into view" I also think the video relates to a hope of an end to those fears "There must be an end soon" They just used death to signify the end to the fear with worms and insects. If you think about it, it makes sense. I'm sure I'm stating the obvious on some of these points but I think if you look at the video from an artist's standpoint it's beautiful and dark.

First off, the album might just be the best thing I've come across since Above The Weeping World by Insomnium. 10/10.

Also, in my opinion, this video is absolutely brilliant. It does indeed visualize the feelings/scenery that i experience while listening to this kind of music, and I think it couldn't fit better to this song.

Actually, I see or feel much more than that. I've always felt that Katatonia has had this sort of really cold cityish/urban feeling to their sound which, naturally, has brought me to urban places while listening to their music. This song on the other hand is far more melodic and diverse in my opinion (compare verse-refrain, for example), something that I in the manner of Insomnium and Shape of Despair associate with seasonal, gothic scenery, women and nature. Beauty in general, that's what I see

great song, the new album is great. the more i listen to it the more i like it. they do an awesome job with layering the guitars and vocal harmony on this album. way to go katatonia stepping it up even more so musically. plumflowerblossom, you may have already but you should check out opeth. a bit heavier than katatonia but if you haven't heard them already you might like them. there are definitely similarity's between these two bands. if you don't like growls listen to opeths damnation album.
