  • Ramsay's presentations look better.

    Pierre's are often to busy.. or even too simple. was expecting more ballance and finesse from this guy.

    White is a product of the 80's, Ramsay is a product of the 90's.

    Though as he explains in the video, especially as this is for the home cook, many restaurants serve dishes with small amounts of garnish that look pretty, but what they add to the dish is gone halfway through eating it.

  • @InnuendoXP yea, but still. he had a 3 Michelin star restaurant. u would think that he would put a little more into the presentation of the food. it doesn't take much energy to do that. or perhaps he just doesn't care anymore. his dishes don't look delicious and inviting.

    In this instance, he's putting it as an example of something you'd put in the middle of the family table at lunchtime.

    Sure it's not haute-presentation, but what would be the point? You're not making this for a customer

    i mean look how he garnishes it... the green herbs looks like a nightmare. and they are too long. they will stick out of your mouth when eating.. dripping with sauce. are u going to cut those herbs with knife and fork!?

    Marco used to say his task was to instill some finesse into his pupils. i see none of it here.

  • i bought it with the skin off and i simply pan fried it with olive oil and i served it with roast fennel
