Hi HarriL, I just got my Futureretro Revolution last week. I can't stop fiddling with it. I do not know how real TB 303 sounds like, aside from youtube videos, but I think that Revo is awesome in many ways. I just can not get enough of that acid-type sound. Again, great refreshing upload and keep up good work. Your music inspires blokes like me, cheers mate :)
Revo has it's own sound definitely. It's tb ish mainly because of the sequencer but the sound lacks certain elements. To get close to it there are some hints in the manual :)
Brilliant...your stuff always inspires me to go back to the electribes. Out of interest...how much of this track is EMX? I swapped my EMX for a Monomachine, hated it and went back to the EMX! Was a bit disapointed with Korg when they released the Monotribe though :(
@HarriL Yeah, I just didn't like the sound of the Monomachine...it's saw wave was more digital sounding than the EMX. I guess it's more geared towards "glitchy" sounds. I kinda expected a better sounding EMX with the same accesibility...not the case. Perhaps the Machinedrum would sound good in your setup, but it uses the same sound engine - my main gripe.
Look into an iPad + Korg iMS-20...100% of the jamability of the EMX (you have "Kaoss Pads" but with a sound engine based on the real MS-20.
@buchanan82 Oh, i get you man. It's not for everyone that's for sure. I have not played with one myself but I have a strong feeling that I would like something like the machinedrum :)
I'm not that much into the whole iPad electribes thing, if I had an iPad i would most likely have the iMS-20 and iElectribe, but since I don't have it and I'm not planning on buying one I'll save up on something like the octatrack or an modular system ;)
@HarriL Yeah the Monomachine sound engine was pretty poor in my opinion...the saw wave was more digital sounding than the EMX! Perhaps a Machinedrum would sound good in your setup, but it uses the same sound engine.
Look into an iPad + iMS-20...it really is the next generation of Electribe. A+ emulation of the MS-20 sound engine, with the flexibility of virtual Kaoss pads....kinda like the ARP on the EMX!!!
just the kind of tunes i like,i had a little jam today on my gear,i should do it more,i had alot of fun, looks like you were having fun too.nice tune again my man.that 303 sounding machine is very nice indeed.machine dials forever.not mouse clicks.
@w0lf4c3 Thank you man! :) I can tell you that it is VERY inspiring. Especially when you have a scene like this and you are just jamming around.. I can only imagine what it will be like in the summer when the sun is setting on the horizon and you just get lost in the music :D
Not sure but I think the video limit has been increased to 15 min for everyone, no need to cut off at 10 min! We would love to hear 5 more minutes of you!

@buchanan82 Heey, thanks for your comment!
Nice to know that :D
This track is like 90% emx. The acid is from the revo, some drums from the 606 and the solo is K-station.
I was thinking of adding one of the elektron machines into the setup at some point. :)
And i agree with you 100% about the monotribe.

@buchanan82 thank you! I'll try to create something soon. I have a strong desire to make something outdoors now that the summer is here :)

Makes a good partner to the EMX as well.
