CIWWAF apparently chose their name, cuz they were talking about what to call themselves, and one of them said something like : we need something cute, cute is what we aim for. i can't remember who it was though...

they chose to call themselves CUTE IS WHAT WE AIM FOR because they were losers in highschool, and instead of using the word cool they would say cute, and so really the name name should be COOL IS WHAT WE AIM FOR, but since they replaced the word COOL with CUTE they named themselves CUTE IS WHAT WE AIM FOR. i read something where shaant was interviewed and asked why he chose this as a band name, and this is what he answered

i think i rember seeing this commerical before.. ive seen CIWWAF with Hellogoodbye when they came to Austin TX but Shaant was sick! so Shaant promised us they would come back to give us a full lenght show since they only played 3 songs and they kept their word! they are comming back in 2 days im so excited!
