@stu69a- Brenspeed keeps your factory tune at their shop, that's if you got the tune from them. If you didn't they can't help you. You'll need to fork out some dollars and take it to Ford so they can retune it. Another thing to remember is that ANYTIME you take your car in for service for ANYTHING you need to tell them not to "flash" your ECM. If they do this, it will screw with your tune. Another alarming thing you mentioned was the fact that you took your tuner apart.

how much wud this b? and about how much horse power gain wud it give and wud it give gas mileage? also i have a cold air intake. would that afect that in any way? i have an 01 V6

cant return back to stock because the engine cuts out and has a big flat spot the tuning shop don't want to no any thing about it Thanks SCT

@stu69a reiterate your comment coherently, did you mean you couldnt return your tune to stock because the engine died or returning it to the stock format caused your engine to die

@ADD8oi i tried to return it back to stock but there was a connection problem inside the sct device which would disconnect the dives from the ecu port i toke the tuner apart and reconnected the wire harness back in to the SCT device and now the stock tune file is corrupted when i return back to stock the engine misfires has a BIG flat spot and the engine cuts out and is a nightmare to restart

as i cant put it back to stock i have to sell it with the vehicle unless you know another way

@stu69a i would suggest either contacting brenspeed, bama, or sct with your problem or find a friend with the same model and year vehicle as yours and use their stock tune from their tuner, do contact brenspeed and sct with your problem and see if theyll send you the factory config for your vehicle, if not then use the lowest octane tune and sell it with that, if indeed you are selling

hey just a question guys, i know it might sound stupid but i am just curious, do these still come with the canned tunes from SCT, i know your custom tunes are better but i was just curious is to if you buy a SCT X3 from you guy with custome tune do you still get the canned ones?

quick question, i have a 2004 mustang gt. it is completely stock apart from a k&n intake. i want an sct chip but hear i have to order a new exhaust system. if i just stick with the stock exhaust and install the chip would this be damaging?
