If you are ever lucky enough to ride on this thing as the only passenger, as I once did many years ago, just as the pleasure beach was closing, then you are in for a real treat. The difference in acceleration between a fully loaded train and one that carries only one person is breathtaking. I'd ridden this many times before but nothing prepared me for the kick in the pants, nor the ride's attempt to throw me out of the seat over the first drop. Utterly jaw-dropping.

I went on this today and it is Very good. But i must admit.. for the long wait.. it's not worth it.:\ I advice that if you want something amazing and an epic experience you go on infusion, But your head bangs on the sides it is so fast. and your ears pop to:)

@xxxxenergizexxxx totaly true, i love the adrenaline when you are queing on the stairs. and the staircase starts shaking cause of the powerful force of the ride. it's so amazing, best ride in the park (definatley) better then the big one... so worth the wait, ride and the feeling. i was on this ride within 10 minutes on a busy saturday sunny afternoon! whatever you do, this ride will tell you to get on all the others.. it lasts 30 seconds, and them 30 seconds will give you the ride of your life!

this is the best ride ever! do not be scared! you will love it! when i was queing on the staircase to get to it with my family, i kep saying omg i dont think i can do this, when we got to the top and when it was our turn, i stepped in he cart, sat down, pulled the bar from above me and done my seatbelt thingy and i heard a voice counting down from 5,4,3,2,1, then i was shitting my pants! then we set off down the track and ono the loop! best feeling ever! best rollercoaser in the park! AMAZING!

@EmzeeMe I went on this last week... It is such a cool ride. To be honest, I found climbing up the stairs to be more scarier than the ride itself :L Not sure if you have been on The Big One (Pepsi Max). But if you haven't I suggest you go on that too. If you do go on it, you get some amazing views at night, you can see the lights and at this time of year the illuminations :D

i can remember going on this actually. was an amazing ride. however i didnt know it went backwords so when it stops to allow u to go backwords, i was screaming im stuck my barrior wont lift and was trying to get out! haha! one of the best rides i the park tbh!!!!

Well, let's be fair. This was Europe's first roller coaster that turned you upside down when it opened in 1979. So, it's a special ride for that reason.

Nah, not really possible tbh. There's a rollercoaster here and it does a 360 loop, been on it, and hey, I'm still alive :)

Don't worry if you're scared of rollercoasters, you don't HAVE to go on them. But you can get over it by going on smaller rides or closing your eyes. Haha, sorry, I give too much advice! :L

In my personal opinion, this is far more intense than it looks. The effect of the negative G-Forces on the way back were fantastic. The loop is actually sort of less intense than the drop first time round.

Everybody thinks that title belongs to the corckscrew at alton towers, but that came one year later.
