Heh, I was never too big on "Around the Corner." The show seemed to focus less on the street and more on those new locations and characters. Then again, I was born in 1988, and I stopped watching after Season 24 (1993.) To me, Season 24 was the final "classic" season (even if it had the newer taping studio, the calypso opening and the updated "Monsterpiece Theater" and "Super Grover" openings)
@wileyk209zback Most people have a very similar feeling; it would seem most fans kind of regard the beginning of the ATC era as the end of the "old school/classic" era. Which in a way makes sense, because that was the first time SST was "forced" to update and modernize (and mainly to fight off competition from Barney).
@skullzproductions If you notice, they actually recycled elements of Furry Arms and Finder's Keepers to make up the dead-end alley that sat next to Big Bird's area.
@antsamthompson9 More than likely, I'm sure everybody's favorite era of SST depends of what they grew up with; like myself being born in '89, I originally grew up with SST of the mid-to-late 80s (mostly the My Sesame Street Home Videos) and early 90s, so that's my favorite era.

Around the Corner was the best set on the show until they lead it to nowhere in later seasons

I liked Around the Corner. Maybe it's because I was born in '94.
