I am also a bullseye shooter but its for 4h with a smallbore pistol (.22 cal). I was wanting to know did you buy your glasses with the thing you flippped down or did you make it? If you made it, how did you make it? Right now I am using a thing that clips onto my hat to block my left eye but it isn't working correctly.
Enjoyed your video. You're a good shot no doubt. You should have a white paper that you could place behind your target so we can see where the shots are hitting. You could also hold it up to a light source. Nice to see you hold that gun out there and hardly detect any movement whatsoever. Keep up the good work and we'll be looking for more shooting videos. Show closeups of your guns too. All the best.
bullseye pistol is precision pistol shooting not area combat pistol shooting. Optics are required to shoot competitively at a high level as the entire target is not much bigger than the X ring on a human silhouette the X ring itself is I think not much larger than an inch diameter, been awhile so I dont remember for sure.

Sorry. I'm not very good at posting from my iPad. What I wanted to ask is, are you shooting factory ammo or Hanna loaded "low power" loads?
thefen1 7 months ago
@thefen1 hand loads. 4.4g WST with winchester brass, 185g semi wadcutter made by zero bullet. Winchester large pistol primers.

What scope are you using?

@NicverAZ
Its a red dot scope. No magnification. Made by ultradot. That one is the match dot model.

Need to keep your elbow straight on the recoil. Allow your arm to convey the recoil up to your shoulder.
Excellent idea on filming for feedback, I might even give it a try.
Hope the pointers help.

get the optics off the pistol. it's unnecessary

Most bullseye pistols have optics like this. Plus I can't shoot iron rights without an iris. My eyesight is not as good as it once was.

@wdutton so your saying you can't focus on the front sight?
