  • Like Judas betrayed Jesus with a Kiss. John Paul also betrayed the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ with a Kiss. When he passionately embraced the Islamic Gospel, the Quran with a Kiss. Saint Peter would rebuke John Paul for such an action. I am eternally grateful that true Christians brought me the Good News & I was born again. Roman Catholicism promotes good luck charms. Christians preach the Gospel. Please seek God out & you will find that Religion has blinded the masses.

  • @ImagesByDavid You do realize that most of the Qur'an is the bible? And that most of the bible is in fact the Hebrew bible? It isn't wrong to kiss the Qur'an, embrace what it has to offer, and still keep your morals and your faith in Jesus strong.

  • @Imthewbestintheworld

You do realise that your comment is ridiculous! and is very much anti-Christian.

Religion has blinded you to the Truth of the Lord Jesus Christ.

  • @ImagesByDavid It's not ridiculous if it is fact.

  • @Imthewbestintheworld

I can tell from your messages you are not a Christian. Therefore you are not equipped to deal with this issue. Please show me how the GOD of Abraham is the God of the Muslims and in doing so I will prove you too you are incorrect.

  • htA

  • @Menechem. ... Good.

  • He is truly Blessed and Venerable.

  • no, i think all religions are equally ridiculous. i dont play favourites

  • @ColdAsBalls that would be "ouch" to all religions.

  • saint john the pedophile protector paul. can the catholic church be any more of a joke?

  • @ColdAsBalls

all religions have their share of pedophiles. but no lets just pick on the catholics right? and lets overlook the good side to the pope and focus on the what he may have not done right because after all he is only human like the rest of us. i suppose u are oh so righteous to pass judgement on others.

  • @88masp is he human, or is he revered as a holy pope and saint, more than just a man.

if john paul actually gave a shit he would have done something.

  • @ColdAsBalls well 1st of all he is not revered as a saint bcoz he hasn't been declared a saint yet. he is Blessed John Paul II. 2ndly all popes r born human and they die human. just bcoz they r appointed to lead the catholic church they dont turn into heavenly beings. that may happen after their death according to God's judgement but obviously in their life time they are very much human and prone to human weakness. do u mean to tell me that leaders of other religious denominations are flawless?

  • VIVA EL PAPA!!!

  • He looks like fucking george bush!

  • Pope Benedict should visit the Philippines like his predecessor Pope JPII!! To all Filipino's LIKE THIS!

  • dont be fooled people behind that sweet and innocent looking old man is the devil himself dont put your faith to any saints or statues or the virgin mary that is all fake the only true masters are god and jesus

  • @poopyguy1694

I think they know that lol; Also God and Jesus are one. There's a difference between worship and reverence or honour; I honour John Paul II, the saints and especially the virigin Mary. But my ultimate love and worship lies for God only.

  • @Jim1905 Praying Salve Regina, Ave Maria, Regina Coeli, any of her litanies, thi oes beyond honouring and enters into worship.

  • @Menechem

Well, that's for God to decide, though imo there's nothing wrong with songs honouring the saints or anyone else.

  • @Jim1905 Thats like a Hindu saying they are honouring Brahma while singing to Krishna. Saints means people of God. If we have confessed Jesus as Lord we are God's people are we not? You're so against sola Scriptura, yet you have Ravi Zacharias (who is Sola Scriptura on your Youtube channel. In response to your comment regarding interpretation, right interpretation comes only from seeking the Holy Spirit. People who are born again have the gift of discernment and can pick out bad teaching.

  • @Menechem

Yeah so what if Ravi is, I enjoy him. I don't have to agree with every single thing a person thinks or believes for me to see the good ideas, I'm not closed minded. Yeah, I'm sure every christian whacko out there have felt they have the right interpretation...your church is the reason why we have young earth creationism, god hates x, homosexuality is (not) ok, etc.

  • @Jim1905 Your church (as well as the eastern church) is the very reason why my people are so against Yeshua. It was in His name that we were burnt at the stake. It was in His name that we suffered at the hands of Constatine. It was at His name we suffered pogroms and Crusades. It was in His name that we suffered in Spain(this is personal to me,My family were victims of Spain). It was in His name that we suffered the Shoah.Btw,Phelps(God hates)is not part of the SBC,and thus your argument is futile.

  • @Menechem

oh please! It's so easy to point back into history and condem but you were not really there. All I'm reading is the same old tired anti-catholic propaganda, that's mostly lies, at one point in time the crusades were celebrated (long after they were conducted) and now there not. Let's get some historical perspective here. Your church is the reason that others mock christianity and condem us as anti-intellectuals and anti-science, as one scientist myself I'd like to say thank you.

  • @Menechem

Also the number of witch hunts when up dramatically after the reformation, by the protestant church and there was even a hysteria of it in the US. Why? Well any douche bag could twist scripture to support his ludicrous statments...get raptured up yet?

  • @Jim1905 My point is that you are claiming that we in the Orthodox Protestant world (one cannot paint all protestant groups with the same brush as you are trying to do when you refered to Phelps, Homosexuality is O.K., and other groups that do not line up with Orthodox Christian Faith that comes from Scripture) are wrong, and yet you have Ravi on your channel. I call you on your contradiction.

  • @Menechem

I have Ravi on my channel because I enjoy him, I don't have to agree with every single thing he believes so there is no contradiction. I also greatly enjoy and admire the atheist Richard Feynman. But hey, you can be closed minded if you like. St. Aquinas took from many scholars including Muslims, Pagans and Jews. There is nothing wrong with someone having correct ideas and wrong ideas.

  • @Menechem

We honour the saints and try to be like them as Paul said "Be imitators of me, as I am of Christ" (1 Cor 11:1, also Phil 3:17, 1 Cor 4:16). So in honouring the saints, we are ultimately honouring God and how a life with Christ makes all the difference. Sola Scriptura btw is a self defeating philosophy; it undermines itself by making a claim that is not justified in scripture, thus is illogical and wrong.

  • @Jim1905 12 I beg you, brothers:become like me,for I also became like you.You have not wronged me;13 you know that previously I preached the gospel to you in physical weakness,14 and though my physical condition was a trial for you,you did not despise or reject me.On the contrary, you received me as an angel of God,as Christ Jesus [Himself].(Galatians 4 HCSB).Your argument again is futile as you are not taking Scripture in Context.Even Fr Mitch Pacwa (EWTN personality)teaches that context is key.

  • @Menechem

To whose authority do we go to when looking at scripture? That's the whole purpose of the useless protestant church, that's why scripture got so tangled up: there is no authority. Save, of course, the holy spirit, but whose to say one has it and another does not?

  • @Jim1905 I'm done with you. You do not study, you twist Scripture and take it out of context, and you do not have a clear understanding of the Catechism, and the Word. You claim that Protestantism is wrong because we split from Rome, Need I remind you of the original split that was caused by Rome? Rome is responsible for Eastern Catholicism, Roman Catholicism, and Protestantism. You need to study your Church History, the Catechism, and the Word more beofore you comment!

  • @Menechem

You can be done with me all you want, that doesn't make your arguments sound nor your ideas correct. You need to study some theology and church history yourself. Yeah, it was Rome's fault (hasty generalization). This coming from the "church" with so many denominations I lose track.

  • @Jim1905 you know that the only sin that god doesnt forgive is not putting your belief in jesus first

  • @poopyguy1694

    So what's your point?

  • @poopyguy1694 Who are the 'true masters'? According to Scripture, Salvation comes only through faith in Christ.

  • @Menechem i know dont have to pointout the ovious

  • @poopyguy1694 Answer my question. Man has one Master and that is Christ, who are the two you are refering to?

  • @Menechem god and jesus

  • @poopyguy1694 Jesus is God, the Holy Spirit is God, and the Father is God, so why are you separating them? Christ says many times in Scripture that I and the Father are one. God is a triune God.

  • Someone please tell me why Pope John Paul II is holding a bent cross at 0:00. look at it closely, if you do not know what that is.. look it up please. In a nutshell it is an unholy perversion of the cross meant to mock Jesus, It was used in the 6th century by Pagans. Surely Pope John Paul II and Pope Benedict know what it symbolises!

If anyone has a deeper understanding of it than me please tell me..

  • He is a saint already. The Church merely confirms the verdict of Heaven. I do hope they officially recognise him as St. John Paul the Great. The collapse of communism is a historical event on a par w/ the fall of the Roman Empire. In fact, it was merely the leading edge of the collapse of Western secular materialism. We are watching the deeper Western collapse of that ideology.

  • Am I misreading the caption? If his pontificate is the longest on record, how can two others have lasted longer?

  • Santo Subito!

  • The World Loved Papa John Paul II, Humble Servant of God.

  • Santo Subito!

  • If they knew the REAL third secret of Fatima they would want to know more than "John Paul II , he loves you!".

  • @helenw100 then what is it?

  • @helenw100 - Apostasy taught from the top. Everything these Popes do is condemned by the Holy Catholic Church - Our Lady gave a deadline of 1960 for the secret to be read. It was hidden in the vaults becuae it involved the changes that were to happen at Vatican II - Pople do not know just how much has changed or that a freemason wrote the new mass you now have. That there was a plan to gut Catholic chapels and get them to take communion in the hand etc - all accomplished- look up Bella Dodd.

  • @helenw100 Mary gave nothing, she is not a goddess, nor has she ever appeared to anyone. Calling her queen of heaven is against Scripture (Jeremiah 44)!

  • @Menechem "And the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed up the river, which the dragon cast out of his mouth. And the dragon was angry against the woman: and went to make war with the rest of her seed, who keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ." Hail , full of grace!. None of your religion doubted the glory and honour given to Mary by God before the 1600,s. 70,000 witnessed the miracle of the sun at Fatima, as God's proof.

  • @helenw100 There's a big diference between honouring and worshiping. All Scripture teaches is that 'Surely, from now on all generations will call me blessed' (Luke 1:48), it dies not support praying to her, or calling her the queen of heaven. Infact if you read Jeremiah 44, you will see my ancestors getting punnished for worshiping someone with that title. Fatima never existed, nor did Lourdes. Both were, if anything, were satanic events.

  • Pius XII said -"I hear all around me innovators who want to dismantle the Holy Chapel, destroy the universal flame of the Church, throw away her ornaments, give her a remorse of her historical past. "

Vatican II accomplished all of it and tried to destroy Christ's Church by making Catholic feel guilty for "discriminating" against the heritics the bible say to "AVOID".

  • Yes- and what about him worshipping with heathens, changing the Rosary, wanting to change the Hail Mary - to "rejoice Mary full of subrace", endorsing heritics etc etc what about Christ and His disciples?"Therefore, brethren, stand fast; and hold the traditions which you have learned, whether by word, or by our epistle." John Paul II wanted to oppose this.

  • And this was meant to be a promotion video- we not understand what Our Lady meant at Fatima , and the APOSTACY that would begin at the top in the Church in "1960"! These Catholics are now fully protestantized.

  • Santo Subito!!! The Philipine People loved him a great deal. But something that the media had to ignore, was the 20 Million People who attended the Canonization of St. Juan Diego in Mexico by Ven. John Paul ll. This fact remains a mystery!

  • Yay for Pope John Paul 2!!!!

    Pray for us!! ALL!!!

  • I loved that man. He was love incarnate, a real example of how by loving our neighbor, we are loving God. That had to be one of the most righteous dudes that I have ever seen in my life! Ever!

  • Pope John Paul The Great.

My Mum Named Me After Pope John Paul, She Was Carrying Me When She Saw Him In Bellahouston Park, Glasgow 1982..

    The Much Loved Pope.

  • yes he will become a saint soon!!

    TO ALL FILIPINOS:

let us pray for his Sainthood!!

MABUHAY ANG BUNYING PAPA, JUAN PABLO IKA-2

  • Venerable Pope John Paul the great, please pray for us!

  • He also had under his power the most Bishops to dissent and dirive from his encyclicals in one time.

  • The filipinos really have a faithful and strong spirit.

  • If he's venerable, does that mean he'll become a saint soon?

  • yes

  • He is one step away from being Beautified (a Blessed) and after then another Vatican approved Miracle he will become a Saint.

  • @dacatholicbandorgan Read Scripture, we are all saints if we be born again!

  • @Menechem

You should do more the simply read scripture; sola scriptura is simply wrong and self-refuting. There's a wealth of christian material from the early church fathers, saints, theologians, apologists, etc. that will greatly enrich reading the bible, especially when it comes to interpretation.

  • @Jim1905 You shoul seriously do a little more studying when it comes to Church history and early Church Doctrine. 2 Timothy 3:10-17 will back this up. Or what Christ said to Satan Man must not live on bread alone but on every word that comes from the mouth of God' (Matthew 4:4 HCSB) which is a quote from Deut. 8:3. I'm not against the early church fathers (I'm reading city of God right now by Augustine), what I'm getting at is that Your church (founded in the 400's) let false doctrine come in.

  • @Menechem

Not a single christian denomination has such a robust and brilliant theology and philosophy as the Catholic Church does. I was once very anti-catholic, believing the same unfounded propaganda, until I actually took the time to read more and more about it, discovering (much to my ire at first) how fufilling it is compared to others. I dispelled every myth associated with it (worshipping mary/saints, young earth creationism, pope is literally infallible, etc.)

  • @Jim1905 Give me a break! I was rasied Roman Catholic (I am Jewish by Birth [mom was raped by a priest, I do not hold it against the Church as there are wonderful men and women in it), and was in Seminary at age 13 (at confirmation my Bishop took notice of my advance knowledge of the faith and knew that I was destined for priesthood or at least to be a teacher of the faith, He knew that what I was getting in School was far too basic for me).

  • @Jim1905 What about the declaration that the Pope speaks Scripture (in regards to the encyclecls)? What about the whole doctrine of Mary being queen of heaven (This is a pagan form of Worship Jeremiah 7:17-19, 44:16-26). What about all the idolotrous superstitions concerning the departed ones who have now risen to the rank of demigods? For instance, the St Joseph Home Selling kit?Or 'Patron Saints' just like there's a god for everything in ancient mythology, there's a Patron Saint for everything.

  • @Menechem

Patron saints are examples on how to conduct ones life in accordance to Christ in certain, specific situations. You're simply twisting catholic doctrine to suit your own purposes. What about the declaration that the Pope speaks scripture?
