At least it seems like they will wrap up the plot by the series finale.

Decent show, though it wasn't surprising to me a show like this won't get great ratings on a broadcast network. Shawn Ryan, next time you do a show like this, pitch it to a cable network, but not on a broadcast network where most of the viewers do not have half the attention span of that of a goldfish.

I imagine this show would've done decent on TNT. At least we still got the The Shield to remember by.

I am a filmmaker in Chicago, and this is the kind of show that deeply inspires me. I also know several actors that have worked on this show, and have nothing but the best things to say about it, through and through. This is an amazing show that has a sky high potential, and is worth hanging onto. The word of mouth is building fast and strong. I've never seen so many of my friends rally around a TV show before. You greenlight a second season, and I guarantee that the viewership will increase.

@pushmonkeys Chicago Code got their consideration before Breaking-In. Not only are other networks interested in the show, but if the overseas ratings (because it just premiered in Italy and the UK) are decent, FOX will bring it back themselves for a 2nd season.

Lousy show. Born and raised in Chicago, far and away the most fascination city in America. Yet, these folks miss everything that is genuinely interesting about it. I was hoping for something like The Wire or, at least, The Shield. Not at all. This show seems like it was produced by a not very knowledgeable tourist. A shame.
