I live in Switzerland and every born-Swiss resident has to go to the army for a 1 month trial (something like that) and you can choose to stay longer after that, and also after that they get to take home a rifle to defend their home :S Pretty neat system

I am from Switzerland, My friends claim the Swiss Army is vacation to them, I have yet to see myself perhaps this year or the next year.

The American Army is superior, in my opinion, such as the Navy, Air Force, Special Units, etc.

If the American's were to invade Switzerland, I am sure they would be successful.

(However, Switzerland still has a powerful Defensive army :P)

All of these soldiers are ''Grenadiers''

A ''Grenadier'' is a swiss army soldier who handles handgrenades

They are the best swiss soldiers and you need to be very fit to enter this group!

They also train for close combat

The Grenadiers you see on the clip are militiablokes who go home back to normal life to be called back every year for the yearly repetition course.

the group of the clips on Isone taken during the Swiss Army days show mainly the operatives of det10 showing their capacities.

As their commander personally told me there would be only three demonstrations to the general public by this group, the first, the only and the last one.

So, what you see in the clips is all you shall ever see of them if there is no change in policy.

I was trained with the Fass 57, at least with that one you could do the window trick you see at the beginning of the clip directly using the rifle, we did it on day one when we got the Fass90 and bet the ruddy thing.

Only after were we told that it was not built for that.

This clip is not very new. The Grenadiers of today use the long and short version of the SIG 550. Also the Mp 5 and Sharp Shooting Rifles. They use Red Dot, Laserpointer etc to.
