Short of amoled ? Amoled sucks under the sunlight it is shit, that's why they change it to TFT screen, super amoled is good, amoled is like an unfinished product, only htc use them.

@XAnonymousdX its just a regional carrier that most people have never heard of. If someone wants prepaid with a smartphone I'd say go with T-mobile. I don't understand why more carriers don't have their flex pay plans. You pay full price for the phone and then pay the bill in advance every month, so there's no chance you could stick the phone company with a bill but who knows

The US gets most phones before anyone else though, and some phones that are not available at all in other countries. Like the Droid X, Droid Incredible, etc...

For me the Android 2.2 update for my Desire made the phone a lot more worthwhile.

Do people know if the super TFT is better for viewing in sunlight? That is something that annoys me with the Desire, along with the horrible Orange UK ROM & poor battery life.

I updated to Android 2.2 Froyo for 2-3 weeks ago with the official updater.. :)

I love my HTC Desire and I love the non-touch buttons at the bottom of the phone :)
