awesome music!!! I have crysis2 for my pc and a crossfire setup. There's a problem that is confirmed. It starts when you go outside in the sun. Your screen will flicker very brightly. Eventually there will be so much glare, you are unable to see where you are going. The patch didn't work. When you turn off crossfire, the flickering stops. It doesn't look as good, but atleast i can now play the game. I wonder if triple crossfire is effected this way also.

@SCARSAC Fair enough, although most brand new games don't require a constant upgrade of $2500 every one-two years, assuming you do that. The only thing I need is a cpu and with a build at the fraction of the cost, I can garuntee running the same games at a performance that is not noticeably different whatsoever. If you have the money spend it on what you want, of course. Sometimes understanding that you can find other ways to spend to improve overall experience is good, too.

i am a nvidia user but i cannot agree that one gtx580 overpowers 3 5870s. all the 580s under $600 hav a max of 1536mb of mem. 3 5870s with a gig each (a total of 3gb) would easily outperform a single gtx580.

It doesn't work like that, memory doesn't scale its still 1GB, but the point still stands that TriCF 5870s beat a 580 considerably, even 2x 5870 out performs it by a significant degree. Check Anandtech for benches comparing 580 and CF 5870.

I realy hate how 2 or 3 times a gfx card doesn't increse the performance by 2 or 3 times. No use to put 3 5870's in 1 pc unless ur trying to max out FSX or ArmA with the view distance. yes, 1 5870 can handle that, but not with 10 km of view distance.. I know because I own a 5870).
