You are very welcome. I'm surprised by how much water is still there in September from your description. When I went in June it like I stepped into a shower. I was pelted by water from all directions. I was soaked from head to toe. Did you hike up Half Dome?

We took this hike 5 days later after a few days of 80 degree weather. The Mist Trail/Shower Trail had metamorphosed into The Sideways Rain Trail. It was truly unreal. Rain (from the water fall) pelting us into dripping wet remnants of our formere selves... Thankfully the sun was shining up top where we were able to dry out. Truly spectacular volumes of water surging through the gorge.
