thats the beauty of Heath's Joker character...the guy is so crazy you don't know if he is bluffing or not...and Christopher Nolan barely reveals anything about his character....hes one big mystery and its up to the viewer to make his or her own interpretations about his character...thats the mastery of Nolan...to confuse the audience and make the audience question just enough that they dont get pissed off.....its like the ending to Inception....totally ambiguous.

GREAT scene, but the cuts of the Batpod moving through buildings, parking lots and alleys were very poorly edited. It's as if they just took the shots they'd filmed and slapped them together in random order. Surprising actually, given the level of detail Nolan usually shows.

The opening bank robbery with henchmen he instructed to "Kill everyone else," the meeting with the mobsters, the killing of Gambol, handing Dent a gun in the hospital, walking out of an exploding hospital. He puts himself into a lot of risky situations because he really believes in chaos as a value.
