they just got one of these at the dealership in my city and i went to go look at it. and just joking around with the salesman i said you should let me drive it and he said let me go get the keys. im 16 and it was so amazing. and he let my friend ride in the back. that thing is a beast. he really let me unleash the mr. i think he just wanted to go ride in it cuz he told me to get on the highway and we were out for a while
Bigger than 18" would be silly on a car built for rally enthusiasts. Even 18 is pushing it. Those are 'full on' BBS wheels BTW, they run near about $1000....a piece.
I've owned mine for 5.5 Months now and it is a 'fabulous' ride. Smoother by far than anyone would expect, and VERY cheaply modded. Though the SST trans is limited to approximately 350 lbs of tq before transmission 'slippage' begins so for modding, until upgraded clutch packs are built, most go with GSR for maunual trans
That was my first reaction too seeing the Evo X for the first time - but it is BEASTLY irl. I now think it's one of the best looking cars on the road, admist all the boring typical looking newer sedans.
For anyone who is wondering....it is actualy 6 speed and comes with paddle shifters. it has around 296 horsepower coming out of an I-4 Mivec engine (Which mitsubishi perfected and why our cars last so long). It has a new trans (auto manual) . Very Beastly. When your in drive, you feel it shift hard (like you would driving a manny) and yes, our gsr has a 5 speed manny with paddle shifters. Both have the fast key option too...
Hey everyone! This is Adam with South Holland Mitsubishi. Interested in this MR? We have a red one in stock in our showroom. If you would like to take a closer look at ours, please view my videos of it.(Which were originally recorded for Ebay). Please call 708- 596 - 0100 and ask for Adam. I know some people are going to be mad at me for this comment. Sorry for the inconvenience anyone.
That is what is said, (no only 5 speed manual or automatic with paddle shifters which are very functional.)- Talking about the GSR, I would know because I had one.
I got one and it an awesome car. Rides smooth

i like the older models, 8 and 9 are my favorite but the evo 6 is the fastest evo made.
ckpaintballer 2 years ago
Hmmm.. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think the 5 speed manual EVO X GSR has paddle shifters. I thought that was exclusive to the MR.
RJAY2000 3 years ago
no the mr is completly manual the gsr has paddle shifters...
mellowdalyricist 3 years ago
It`s the other way around. MR, 6 speed paddle shifters, GSR, 5 speed stick.
