I think it's cause crispin is reffered to as an acting philosopher. He is sooo deep in acting as an art and reflects it everywhere(if you ever watch his Eureka Seven interviews, he goes off for minutes on what would have been a 30 second answer, touching base with the core of acting philosophy). He seems to be someone who is "one" with acting.
It's either that or his ever scary Alucard(especially in the Hellsing Ultimate stuff, where it's unrated,)
