Actually, bullet drop can be used to one's benefit, say some enemy is hiding behind cover and you know he's there, if you aim carefully enough the bullet will drop just enough to hit the enemy in the head beautifully.

War tapes sounds cool for about 5 mins, then you realise you cant hear nabz running up behind you. Also onboard sound is bad, everytime i ran, i could hear my feet about 5 feet behind me that constantly made me shit myself. Not to mention you hear more in the right channel than you do the left. bc2 sound is so fucked up. My audigy 2 sounds nice but sometimes you get a load of static. Awesome game though. Can be a nightmare if youve got a 70 ping and everyone else has 200-300. Spray the way

@CloseDown9129 I usually switch teams about 4 times until i find one thats working. number one rule is always have a medic push forward and find a good concealed defence position for your teammates to keep respawning on, while you give them cover and meds.

After playing around with my M95 i always come back to the GOL. I like all the sniper rifles even though i thought the SVU was a bitch i used it a bit and got into it too. But what annoys me is that the 12.7mm .50cal rounds of the M95 cant penetrate through sandbags or small metalwalls of containers, etc.

whats the difference between the gol and other guns? it has more accuracy but what does that mean in a game? the rifling of guns are perfect so the only direction the bullet will go is down...

You have to with all the sniper rifles. All guns have bullet drop, but in the case of other guns, it only kicks in after a couple 100m, so you usually dont notice it.

With snipers it kicks in a lot sooner.

@Vanchelon The bullet drop is more or less the same,I read that on the sniper rifles the bullet (so the bullet drop too) is magnified because of the scope,that's why it seems like there is so much drop.

Well the GOL + MAGNM is my fav. bout i have a little problem with the aiming on long distances + hight differences. At least i hit on rush card ( Something with desert) from the corner of the card an other sniper with an +546 marksman-shot :D . sadly never got to do it again.

I'm holding off on making any new vids until the next patch is out. I'm not playing all that much at the moment, too tired of all the M60/CG n00bs who can't manage with any other weapon. It's not uncommon to run into 6-8 M60s on the opposite team, capable of countersniping you with 2 shots from marksman distance :)

R9 server update atleast brought a working autobalance.. FINALLY :)

The down side is it doesn't have the dots u see the dots count for half a secod example if your target is on the 2nd dot that means the bullet will be there right wen he get to the middle

Some feel the mildots help, others feel they manage fine without em, I'm in the second category :)

The M24 has em, but it also has a slight sway. I also like the "cleaner" scope of the GOL and as I'm very well experienced with it, I would normally have little use for the dots anyway :)

How far away do you have to be with the GOL+Magnum ammo before you have to start compensating for bullet drop? I heard that this combo is incredibly accurate with almost no bullet drop. Can anyone confirm?

As far as I know, MA doesn't affect bullet drop. Range isn't the only factor as height difference is just as important :p

Well in the majority of cases, you want to aim for the very tip of the head, but not above to get a perfect headshot. On this map (this is the ONLY case I can think of, but I hate Rush, so I don't know all the maps) you want to aim a little above the head (just extremely tiny, maybe half the head or less) if you are sniping from where he is.. Accuracy also counts in the speed of the bullet, and the GOL is the fastest :D. The best Marksman Headshot I got was +146 points LOL!!!

Yeah the GOL is a beast. A lot of people use the M95 because they think that they're cool because they unlocked everything in the recon class. The rifle sucks though, it has a super slow firing rate and there doesn't seem to be more stopping power than with the GOL.

I have 4 kills with my newly earned M95 and 95 with my GOL. (which I got the day or 2 before) I like the GOL a lot more, but considering they are both snipers, the M95 actually is a little better. It isn't as accurate, an you have a little more bullet drop to calculate for, but it has penetration. I don't believe the GOL can damage helicopters and etc. even with MA, so the M95 does have a slight advantage, but I'll use the M95 for one life if I need it for that alone.

Depends on the map for me. On Atacama Desert, when I am counter sniping people on the ships (medic + counter sniper = points galore for both of us, until I snipe out the medic of course >:D) it gets REALLY hard to see, with all the dust in th e air. The spotter points out the people through the dust (which I sometimes forget to spot-spam) and I can get a headshot since I know the distance and where the person is (even by the red triangle)

I must agree, you don't ALWAYS want to point out targets

M95 is nice for short-medium range, as it one shots at <40 meters with magnum ammo. The sway on it makes it less useful for long range, where the GOL reigns supreme (imo).

241 on Arica Harbour. I had a go at shooting people at the last stage in arica, from the rear construction site at stage 2.

The 2 construction site buildings took up mb 1/3 of the scope and each bullet took ~2.5 seconds to reach its target :)

Didn't manage any headshots there tho sadly as I only had 10 rounds left at the time.

It enhances ambient sounds, like shouting, long distance sounds (explosion, gun fire), reverb effects, your own movement sounds + various other tweaks.

Try it on nelson bay for the best comparison.
