I think that you're missing the point. The purpose of these are to reduce health risk, first and second hand, and to reduce peoples financial troubles which they create in smoking. It's not encouragement, it's protection. And about your comment about alcohol, cannabis and tabacco: They are poison to an extent but think about it. If alcohol were to be eradicated millions of jobs and livelihoods would be eradicated too. People may be destructive with alcohol, but let them be; humans need freedom.

Do you even know what you're talking about? The whole point of electronic cigarettes is to offer smokers a safer and healthier way to get their nicotine. I've had one for about a month now and it's the best investment I've ever made. I love when people come up to me and ask me questions, because I try to turn other smokers onto this amazing device. Smoking for 6 years cut quite a bit of time off my life, but thanks to e-cigs, I don't think I have to worry about that anymore.

It tends to smell of whatever flavour you're vaping, fruit, soft drink flavours, tobacco flavours, roast chicken flavour, you name it. Most flavours don't really smell enough to be noticed by other people tho'. As for health, well it's basically propylene glycol, nicotine and water. Propylene glycol is used in hospital inhalers, smoke machines found in clubs and is also present in many foods. Tests have been carried out on their safety and they come up clean - tobacco reliant companies disagree.

Brilliant! I'm not a smoker, but I'm all in favour of the electronic cigarette - People only object to people smoking near them because of the smell and the danger from second hand smoke. The e-cigs overcome these issues, plus it's cheaper and non-carcinogenic. A win-win situation. If only more people would change to them.
