  • VHScrCap doesn't get detected as a record driver, and as a result I can't record anything. It is definitely installed correctly... what is wrong?

  • Thanks alot ...this is great ... now I can share my ideas created in after effects !!!

  • seriuosly...great tutorial....too good...

  • im sorry i didnt mean it i love you bro great video

  • It works fine when I'm using an Internet browser, but when I minimize the window my desktop doesn't show up, why is this?

  • dude... the divx codec fliter thing didnt get installed right into the VirtualVCR...

    little help, please???

  • @pelonproductions I don't know what you did or didn't do, but the only thing I can think of is: if your desktop colors aren't set to 32bit, DivX won't show in the codec list.

  • Does Adobe Flash Media encoder recognise this as a compatible video device for live broadcasting over livestream?

  • You have the smoothness, but the HD quality is what we're after. I use camtasia and I'd say if I can improve the frame rate speed to the best it can handle, then I'll be good.

  • With these methods you CAN get both HD and speed. You can manually choose the resolution to record in, but it's not as friendly point-and-click like Camtasia. Recordings done with these methods look nearly lossless, it's efficient in size, quality, and speed.

  • thhhhhhx

  • Whenever I try to record something the frame comes up, then about 5 seconds everything in the frame goes black. Also, what program do I use to play the videos?

  • i cant get mine to work or record audio followed the directions exactly and it wont do preview or record and i cant seem to get it to read my audio at all

  • 30 frames/sec. I don't demonstrate Camtasia in the video.

  • Can this brodcast to justin . tv?

  • Windows basically sees the VHScrCap thing as a webcam, so you'd have to find a program in place of VirtualVCR that streams live "webcam".

  • VHScrCap package contains also VH Capture application. Don't know why author demonstrate Virtual VCR... VH Capture allows to do same things, more easy, and also supports streaming to Flash server.

  • @hmelyoff Hey, you're the author of the VH stuff, right? I just noticed your comment 1 year later, but anyway, I recommended what I did because VH Capture is/was always buggy for me and records for about 5 seconds then stops but never says it stops. CPU usage etc goes down to 0% and it still says it's recording, and when I watch the video, it didn't record past like 5 seconds. I'd agree if it wasn't for that bug!
