I have found trikes to be great in the snow. Mine ins't recumbent so I can't get this fancy but it's better then bicycling, walking, or motoring on the ice AND I can haul stuff.

That looks like a lot of fun! If I dirve up into the mountains above Los Angeles I could do that (if I owned a trike). Then I could drive home and do some surfing (if I owned a surfboard). Can you surf a trike?
