This is my voice. The only thing I try to do that is similar is I try to express the song in the way he does, because he always seems to get it on the button. No surprise considering he wrote them :)

The problem comes when encoding the video for sites like Youtube. Codecs compress the video and audio separately. Frame drops can cause synch issues.

It is me singing. It's the microphone that makes all the difference. Mine is an AKG C1000. It gives fantastic reproduction. Plus I added a little reverb on top.

I can tell you for a fact that it is not Neal Diamond singing..it is this guy doing it because you can hear that he hits the notes a little different then the real version....so

The funny thing is. I don't even try to sound like Neil :)
Most of the music in the Neil Diamond songs I sing has soft tones, so I add an edge to my voice to compensate :)
It helps with the overall tone balance.

It is me singing. It's the microphone that makes all the difference. Mine is an AKG C1000. It gives fantastic reproduction. Plus I added a little reverb on top.
You're right about me sitting in front of my computer though :)
