  • CHARLIE SEZ

    Hilarious, Colbert was RIGHT-ON!

  • CHARLIE SEZ

    HILARIOUS!

Stephen Colbert was right-on. 'NUFF SAID

  • If Canada had individuals pay their own way in health care we would have more healthy people and people having to be responsible for their health. Here you can treat your health like crap because you do not have to pay for it directly. So when you get the triple bypass you did not have to pay for it because you were able to spend that money on junk.

  • @tordor It's funny 'cuz it's not true...

  • @tordor my sister would be permanently crippled from scoliosis, and my dad's slipped discs would have disabled and addicted him to painkillers if not for free healthcare, now they're healthy productive members of society and we pay for lots of things, like dental work

  • @tordor

    yeah ok.

we have to pay for our heathcare, yet the us isn't exactly a healthy country.

  • You cannot escape THE HELENATOR

  • bush likes water!!!!!murderfuker

  • LMAOO!!!

  • @sachinisking1 Colbert is being sarcastic. He's making fun of what a fucking idiot George Bush is straight to the guys face. Mind you, he was the President of our country at the time he did this (Bush, not Colbert). It's fucking hilarious.

  • Bush looks like he does not get the jokes... Or maybe he thinks they are not funny! I, on the other hand, think this is HILARIOUS!!! I wonder if Cheney was waiting for Colbert outside... with a shot gun...

  • @caillou2000 Funny, looks to me like he's trying not to crack up

  • this isnt funny..or is this american level of humour?

  • @sachinisking1 nah its just called intelligent humour, its probably too much for you.

  • TheDickDasher......aka Glenn Beck O" Rielly

  • Just another example of why comedy is going down the drain, and fast.

  • @TheDickDasher what!? This guy is a large portion of the ounce of witty comedy america has left!!! SETH ROGEN ISNT FUNNY!

  • @TheDickDasher It was not supposed to be funny. It was a wake up call to the press to do their job. I can see how this was a little over your head though.

  • 3:08 bush is like...not again...it was a bad choice

  • AHA THIS WAS AWESOME!

  • I love the serious look on that woman's face when he said "call me".

  • how is colbert a hero or brilliant. what life did he save? boring, mediocre comedy, and that's putting it nicely. robin williams would crap all over him

  • Colbert's roast just wasn't that good. Norm McDonalds roast of Clinton was great....It wasn't so god damn political.

  • super lol

  • I will never understand Colbets appeal. I have given him a chance, but his jokes are just baby jokes. Uncreative play on words.

  • @antigov84 trololololollolololo

  • @antigov84 "Uncreative play on words." ...Justwhat. I'm sure you're confused and have thus misplaced your view of what is mundane from your brickshet to Colbert's genius. Seriously, puns are generally terrible and are insanely hard to rock. He reinvents them. "Baby jokes"? The intended humour and charm in his immaturity actually... /is/. He intends to play the fool, however what lies beneath many of his jokes are rare instances of America's true wit, that true fools cannot recognize.

  • @myntebuu That is like some college kid telling you about the genius of Dane Cook. It is not that I dont get it. Nothing he says is clever or creative. I know, it is a persona, but it is a boring one, and he has beat that horse to death. He reminds me of Bill Maher in the sense that his fans will laugh at anything they say.

  • @antigov84 as you quote george carlin.

  • @relauraba Do me a huge favor and point out where I quoted George Carlin

  • To Coshka77: Don't you get it? They're both evil crooks you fucking Jackwagon!

  • I laughed SOOO hard at this

  • The look on Bush's face was priceless. To bad it cost so many lives of Americans to make.

  • Bush was 1 more joke away from bursting into tears.

  • This wasn't very funny......

  • Truly an American hero. Standing up roasting an asshole like Bush. When he's sitting right there.

    I mean, GOD DAMN.

  • @Zeratul723 Why's he an asshole?

  • @Zeratul723 Bush isn't right there. He may be sitting there, but he can't respond. Insulting bush like this is like putting him in a cage and then insulting him. That roasting is one of the most cowardly and obnoxious things i have ever seen.

  • @apnwahoowa

    Right.

  • @Zeratul723 Up, are you familiar with how roasts work? In what way does that make him a hero? Would that make Mike Tyson a hero for roasting Charlie Sheen? Or is it just your hatred of Bush, you are willing to call someone a hero for not legitimate reason?

  • @antigov84

    Hahahaha hahaha.

Sir if you have to ask a question that crazy, I can't answer you. Roasting a political leader as bad as Bush was is not the same as roasting a celebrity. I appreciate the comparison because it should be so simple shouldn't it? But it's not.

  • @antigov84 i wouldn't say he's a hero so much as what he's doing here is heroic. he's challenging authority and the media to their faces. i think he's genuine in his concern for American politics. but then again, i could be wrong. who the fuck knows.

  • you know that the US money spent in the Iraq war could have healed world poverty 3 times over? *fact* now that's a sick joke.

  • @cannabisour @kilroy238

I'm Canadian. This is what I think of my healthcare (won't comment on Obama's, don't know enough about it). Yeah, it's true that hospital waits suck. But, many Canadians are scared shitless to even cross the border into the states without buying insurance because of all the horror stories told of being injured in the states and getting MASSIVE bills for it. We're not perfect, but if you made us pay for healthcare individually, we'd nationally riot. Not kidding. Riot.

  • @NNATHEW18: Well, speaking as a European who has to pay a monthy fee for healthcare I'd say there is no real difference between them using your tax money to pay for healthcare or taking the money from you individually. What is really insane is that healthcare insurance for everyone in the US is neither taken care of with tax money nor is it mendatory to get individual health care insurance. People don't see a doctor out of fear of the bills and die. THAT is third world country insanity.

  • look at how that fucking bush is feeling guilty... y don't we bring him to International Criminal Court and tried him for war crimes and that all this a set up??? good job stephen colbert...

  • "don't let helen do this to what was a lovely day!"

  • Colbert is so damn funny. Whats even funnier yet is all the Conservatives who need to be told that this man is making a mockery of "THEM" (laughs). GWB's two terms is by far the most tragic case of out right stupidity that has ever taken residence in the White House in this century. With the help of the Conservative "Low Info" Media these folks just pulled off the biggest "Rip Off" on the sleepy and war facinated American Public. Then 2 years into Oboma's term we vote the Rethugs back in (LOL).

  • I don't know about you guys, but Bush was awesome LOL

  • watch,country my ass!

  • Dude he was so pissed LOL

  • Ouch!

  • @NeoNeonCircuitRider

Naw. I'm bad in front of crowds. I am, however, fascinated by him.

  • Can't believe it's been a year but I still have to say....NOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!

  • Comment removed

  • Why can't David Gregory be his old self on the Meet The Press when he actually asked tough questions?

  • crucified

  • I will never understand americans like Coshka who are against fundemental rules of equal liberties, and common in most democratic countries, because he labels it socialist...

But whats even more mindboggling is that you would even compare a domestic healthcare reform to an unjustified attack and sustained war on a supreme nation......... Theres no way to justify your question with an answer.

  • @thenorwegian76 Everything that's not in agreement with their own personal views is either socialist, either fascist.

  • @iRoflCopterX

You know, if it weren't for your last sentence, you'd have a competent argument. But the last sentence paints you as a screaming feminist liberal. Seriously? Conservatism is the reason we have rape? That makes no sense in anyone's head.

  • im a huge colbert fan but i really didnt find that very funny at all

  • Win.

  • Bush looked pissed, but it was hilarious

  • @iRoflCopterX conservatism looks upon the wellbeing of the state of our economy, while democracy and liberalism is focuses it's attention on the status of living and rights. Now let me ask you, many liberals are out there now protesting against the AZ law. And our idiot liberal president wanted to sew said state. Libs are retards. This state law is as close as the federal law, if the person is here illegally why shouldn't they be prosecuted. The fucking white house didn't even READ the bill!!!!

  • lukewarm applause...Republicans have no sense of humor.

  • slopppy joeee

  • ffs, Obama took an existing bloated social healthcare system and tried to make improvements, he did not implement it

and Bush went into Iraq to get back at Saddam for an attempt on his father's life. Anyone can make up intelligence to justify anything, saying that he went in on bad intelligence is just retarded

  • Hahaha! Brilliant!

  • Not neoconservative but real conservatism.

Whats left? is he going to follow Reagan and advocate amnesty for illegals next?

  • Niribu, haarp and reality shows shall cause the end!!! Repent ye wicked elephants!

  • @ElephantRevolt

Yeah! You tell 'em. As A matter of fact, let's get a debate going on YouTube. I'll bet this interwebzone is chock-full of well-educated folks such as yourself; all of you dying to vent your intellectual frustrations on such a prestigious forum.

Good job ElephantRevolt. Without people like you, YouTube comments would lack the polarized politics that genuinely enhance the internet-video-viewing experience.

    Thank you.

  • @pccalhoun Don't forget, we'll be re-imbursed for the cost of the war by oil profits. At least that's what Duh-bya told us.

  • @pccalhoun Lmao

  • @pccalhoun where's the forum? :) but, the prob with any debate is that it's just a matter of accepting basic facts, for example, i've never heard that NATO knew anything about Saddam, where's the evidence for that? once i'd see it, i'd be like 'oh, ok well then carry on', but that never happens, arguments will ensue about something completely unrelated, and nothing gets resolved, politics is like the weather, everyone talks about it, but no one does anything about it..!

  • @ElephantRevolt lol nice that the bases we are building there are along the same proposed pipeline cChenny wanted his company to build in the 80s, during Reagan. Little funnny.

  • @ElephantRevolt Complete crap.

The UN Chief WMD inspector, Hans Blix, who had been in Iraq for over a year, said he cannot see any evidence of WMD.

The German Government said there is no case for war, amongst many other developed nations.

The difference between you and me is....... you got sold a load of bullshit and swallowed.

Me, I knew from the start it was resource hugging for the west.

Read some real factual evidence and then come back and argue..........

  • I wonder what Bush was whispering in 2:41

    "Is that guy for real?"

  • how did colbert get away with this? he definitely has balls

  • Colbert is the guy....fantastic!!! genius! a true free spirit, honor all reporters...

  • @Coshka77 ಠ_ಠ

  • @Coshka77 idk maybe because we NEED health care did we need another war?

  • @kilroy238 The government should not provide the people with healthcare as it gives reason to intervene even more so into the lives of every American. Not too mention if you look at the "free healthcare" system of canada. a person might have to wait months for a doctors visit. But the health care bill that was passed by Obama is even worse than I could have imagined. It is an obviously socialistic idea. We are taxed higher, and forced to pay a fee that grows greater over time if not payed

  • @cannabisour at 22 sorry but you probably still get health care from your parents or have never needed. See if you have the same opinion in 10 years when you have a job that won't provide it nor can you afford it. Tell it to someone who who has a serious illness in that past and can't get health care. As for Canada why not look Hawaii they are extremely happy with the Government supplied health care so great even Rush Limbaugh praised it until he found out it was socialized.

  • @kilroy238 Well you are wrong about me, I live thousands of miles away from my parents who haven't given me health care in over 3 years. I have an unknown disease that requires doctors visits that have costed me almost 2000 dollars in the last 2 months. I will admit I am lucky as my grandparents have been able to help me with many of the costs. But, I still disagree with getting healthcare from the government. Especially the system Obama has set up, it's bullshit

  • @cannabisour Not everybody has grandparents who can pay their medical bills.

  • Because those are politics! Wake up! Read The Republic! Read The Prince! You choose a leader who will just take decisions beyond the understanding of general opinion!

  • @Coshka77 health care bil i dont care its the dont have one get penalty is what bother me...

  • @Coshka77 Yeah, cuz that's gonna kill a lot of people needlessly.

  • @Coshka77

    Look up socialism, dumbass.

  • @DSD1v57BG32 i dont have to fucker my parents came from the USSR, look it up.

  • @Coshka77

So your parents came from COMMUNIST Russia?

Communists economic ideology is authoritative socialism, also I said that because the health care obama implemented is not socialist.

  • @DSD1v57BG32 yes and not to be rude (although i already have been) obama's plan is of a socialist basis these universal medical plans are used around the world and listen, we haven't even adopted the metric system yet why adopt this? He tries to change America into something that will most likely not work, don't try to change it but, tweak it. America works as a capitalist nation for years, and if you look closely socialized or universalized medicine does fall on the line of socialist economy.

  • @Coshka77

Not even close, the plan will allow competition of the insurance companies by selling cheap insurance to 30 million Americans, it would give the people an option of choosing from cheap insurance companies and regulate it so people that have better care. It is not free or nationalized so it does not count as socialism.

Obama loves the free market president he even allowed off shore drilling. I am starting to not like him he is to conservative with he's policies.

  • @Coshka77 Apparently, you have NO idea what's in the Reform, or you wouldn't bitch.

  • @Coshka77 it works perfectly here in the UK and we are not a socialist country

  • @Coshka77 Actually, the majority of America wanted health care. Maybe not the cut down version we were given due to medical lobbies and Republicans trying desperately to kill the bill. Gallup polls found that on May 8, 49% were for health care and 40% were against it. Also please look up the word socialist, and remember by your definition the military is a socialist organization.

  • @gb696you will never be informed until you stop blaming republicans for everything..bush and the republicans suck..so does obama and the dems.... obama promised to end the patriot act and keeps expanding it..when republicans take power on the promise of repealling the healthcare bill, they will 'Forget'..under bush there was no-fly terror watch lists and we had to take our shoes off at airports..under obama the no fly list is even bigger and the government grabs puts its hands in your pants...

  • @MrFoodismylife I agree with you I was simply was arguing on the issue of health care and the vast over generalization of the word socialist..

  • Comment removed

  • @Coshka77 OH health care is bad!!!

  • @Coshka77

he won his campaign based on two things, bring troops home and universal health care. it makes sense that he would do everything he could to carry out a campaign promise. i think hes a snake, but come on.

dont fear socialism, socialism within certain restraints produces a more stable country. look at the worlds social democracies, the standard of life is pretty high throughout the country, unlike america which literally has 3rd world conditions in parts.

  • @Superman54 I simply fear full blown government run communism, like Soviet Russia. I don't mind some socialist ideals, but if anyone suggested communism then that'd be a problem. I see how Europe is and how England is, and they have socialism, and they are doing great. I just don't want Communism at Her Finest.

  • @Coshka77 ooohhh i totally agree with you on that page. to me communism, full blown communism as we understand it, is one of histories greatest running jokes. it shows the gap between theoretical and practical. like...it just seems so perfect on paper. but man is it ever the exact opposite when in practice. certain things should be socialized, fire dept, police dept, health care. when that stuff is taken care of, people have time and money to put other places, easier for capitalism to work.

  • @Coshka77 because access to health care is a basic human right. we should not abandon those who are old or sick or poor. Unless we are hyenas, ot vultures. US health care has been a capatilist swindle designed around the principle that money is more important than lives, quality of life and human suffering... I'm still amazed that the FDA passed thalidmide as safe for human use!!! look it up.

  • @OzJuggla I agree completely, many basic necessities that are considered the fundementals like education and health care are run mostly by capitalistic dumbasses and wallstreet. Colleges are ridiculously overpriced even state colleges, public education is going to shit, and all we think about is war war and more war; the main thing putting us in debt. We are run by idiots and our government should change, America's gov. makes and made many mistakes and tends to oversee common sense and logic.

  • @Coshka77 socialist please...this bill would make Che Guevara spit in disgust.

  • @Coshka77

Umm...yea...that doesn't actually answer the question: why did we invade Iraq?.....

  • @DRAYEGAVLAS We invaded Iraq (and Afghanistan for that matter) because it is in our national interest to see a free and democratic Iraq. Our ideals and our national interest are one and the same. If we can encourage and bring about a truly free and democratic Middle East Radical Islam will cease to be a threat.

  • @apnwahoowa Yeah, and how are we supposed to defeat terrorism (an idea) when you kill over 100,000 civilians by bombs. Yeah, that will make the Iraqi civilians really love america and democracy! And by killing the 100,000 civilians...you also reduce the chance of them joining the terrorist as well!

  • @apnwahoowa Whatever man, we invaded iraq because Bush wanted revenge for Saddam making an unsuccessful hit attempt on his father. He also did it to award Halliburton 100 % of the war contracts and make himself and Cheney billions of dollars since they both sit on the Halliburton company board. Pure Republican greed at its most corrupt. They'

ll both burn in hell for sure.

  • @Coshka77 dumbass

  • @Coshka77 Because principles like "Who earns the most money, can buy more shit." shouldn't have to do anything with paying the medical bill of a sick child.

  • @Coshka77 But it's not universal healthcare... We still have to stay in they system of insurance companies. Not sure how you are getting socialist out of the bill...

  • @LiPeachy23 Universal health care is the greates conquest of humanity, only sp,e US people cannot understand the simple fact that having money and being cured do not have to be connected.

  • @Coshka77 Socialist... ah ah ah...

  • @Coshka77 you're saying that you want an actual reason for why we need to have unlimited care and treatment 24/7 for free at the hospitals, so that everyone, disregarding their amounts of money, can be treated? isn't that obvious? or are you even suggesting that it's a bad thing?

some people need to get their priorities right..

  • @naimabedval1 who's gonna pay the expensive doctors per hour?

  • @bananajug1 the government. they could cut down on those huge military finance's for instance and use some of it on hospitals which i think is much more important

or here in denmark, everyone pays a little through tax and the result is that everybody can go to the hospital for free. i dont mind paying a little so that poor people can be treated. in fact i think it's a very noble cause even though i could easily pay for my visits if i had to. but some people can't and as a society we should care

  • @Coshka77 There is a reason you got too man negative votes. Take it personally

  • omg why would anyone want to be president

  • he did that with such grace XD

  • Colbert is a bum

  • CONDIIIIIIIIIII

  • Lol what a mistake bush made having colbert do this. Balls of steel.

  • NOOOOO!!

  • Karl Rove was probably drawing when this happened..

  • I love how Ayn Rand was there.

  • Where? I don't see

  • He's lucky he and its administration has only had to bare a few minutes of being uncomfortable at a press roast. He ought to be tried in a court of law for outright lieing and misleading the US into going to war with Iraq. Now we have to deal with Afgahnastan which should have been finished by now had we focused on it rather than Iraq.

  • Kinda like Obama........ hmmmm

  • that's because you sir have no brain.

  • Ha Ha. I see you are a brianiac to call me MAMA BRITT a sir!

It is always refreshing to see someone show their ass!

    Thanks for the laugh! ;)

  • Oopsie haha

lol well u do look like a dude with a bad hair piece! I'd suggest u try brunette, just saying!

    oh and its BRAINIAC.

no, THANK YOU for making me laugh though

  • that hole wall thing did it actualy happend?

  • NOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!

  • how can you both hate colbert and bush at the same time....colbert is making a fun of bush with its stupidity...bush was an a--hole bet he still is and if you ever thought colbert was on his side then you are so fucking wrong...if it aint funny to you its fun for most of america who were pissed of bush's policy

  • Ahhhhhh, poetic justice.

  • him scrambling with the keys was hilarious. lol good stuff

  • For the guy who made the Obama/salad remark, take a Logic course and you might learn what a "fallacy" is. For all the white republicans who voted for bush, good luck washing the blood of children who believed so fully in your god off your hands.

  • wow the whole crowd needs to be given a pill a chill pill.

  • Your right this is gold and i take it back this is the best video ever man george bush was looking that that was the longest and most un omfortable event he's ever attended in his life

  • I'm gonna go watch a jerry lewis movie!

  • Quel kif !!!

  • The best part is Helen Thomas playing along. That woman has been a White House correspondent since before the other reporters were born!

  • Helen Thomas? That woman could kill Chuck Norris with her awesome.

  • @Zhenobia And shes an evil woman!

  • As the video progresses, bush's head gets shinier from sweating his ass off.

  • Haha...what a piece of shit that republican bush was...look at the contrast, intellectually and otherwise, between him and obama...it's like comparing a dog to einstein

  • O man that was GOLD!

    Look at Bush squirm ahahahahahaha!

  • That was funny. Bush looks pretty po'd around 4:43

  • I still can't get enough of this ... better times, or worse times. Certainly better for comedy!

  • SLOPPY JOE!!!
