  • If it's the 861, only have 17 jewels. Only the 1861 have an extra jewel and it's able to be seen in the back. congrats, great watch

  • beautiful

  • I have the moon watch with the stainless steel bracelet and sapphire crystal on the front and the back,,,, I love this watch,, but it is in no way a perfect watch. The case doesnt rest flush on your wrist because the caseback is too deep,, also the bezel on this watch has a lip and if contact is made just the right way will come off (I know personally) , plus Omega service sucks,, takes 6 months and they have the worst attitudes. I love Omega more than just about any watch brand, but very rude.

  • @diamondmoney007 yeah i take my speedy to a trusted watch maker for servicing since the watch is 12 years old and its been through hell and back and has been a very reliable i'm purchasing 2 constellations one for me and the wife both are automatics. omegas are great wathces despite what some people say about them

  • Real watch... ...my next watch...

  • @MrKajtus do you collect watchs?

  • imma steel this watch

  • That strap is the only thing wrong other than that you are a very lucky owner.

  • @cypresspuz

the Speedy is such a versatile watch. It looks great with the original steel band, a NATO strap of just about any colour, or a nice croc strap as shown.

I love the back. Does anyone know if there are any negatives to removing the anit-magnetic cover when adding the display back.

  • That has to be one of the nicest watches ever made. Need one now please.

  • Such a beautiful watch, I love the distortion of the crystal at certain angles.

  • The movement isn't so great. Compare it to a Grand Seiko Spring Drive watch and see the difference.

  • @bugtronic1 He has something to be proud of. Your probably F***ing jealous bastard

  • Showoff!!! Kidding, I have a 1969 861, needs a new bezel. Love the clear backcase.

  • i love that strap, my original band gave up the ghost and needs a new pin where the clasp meets the links and it shows sagging plus iv'e had it since 1999, i wanna get the 1960's presidential style omega band but i like that croc. white stitching strap.

  • i dont like how u rub it against that wooden table :S

  • @BIOGENA it won't hurt the watch, Hardened steel is much more stronger than wood

  • @BIOGENA wood against high grade stainless has no effect

  • I have almost decided to buy the moonphase speedmaster with the clear back but I also like tag monaco and seamasters/planet ocean which is the best bet

  • this is art

  • Beautiful watch.

  • cat got your tounge

  • This is the one I'll be getting, pretty much (will be a 1861).

  • The model to buy if you can find one is the 2007 50th Anniversary Coaxial Ltd Edition to 1,957 pieces.

The face is hand fired enamel, taking over a month to produce.

They came in a simply stunning wooden box with the Speedmaster emblem inlaid ontop.

A full set of unique watch tools with 50th anniversary printed on them is included, as is a unique 50th crocodile strap aswell.

I own number 1654 and i sold my car and Rolex to buy it.

It will remain in its box unworn for ever.

  • @llandudnoboy

Please do a high definition video of your splendid watch. You'll do all Omega fans a service if you do!!! Not everyone can afford such an expensive watch. I realise the watch is exquisite and precious but will the watch really remain in the box 'forever'. Lol, I'll wear it for you

  • I'm certainly not well off

Actually i'm out of work at the moment and when i saw the watch in the window of my local Goldsmiths jewellers i had to have it

I raided my building society account and very graciously Goldsmiths allowed me to pay for the watch over a two year period

The watch was released in 2007 and i ensured my final payment was paid a week before the July 20 2009 Moonlanding anniversary

I have bought the watch as a investment and have always wanted a Speedmaster

  • @llandudnoboy

please PLEASE do a video of your very special watch

  • @set2light

When i actually saw it in the window of my local Goldsmiths my jaw dropped at its beautifull box and price

I robbed my building society account of almost all its contents ie £2000

I used this as a deposit and the rest was paid when i could afford it which was paid in 22 installments

The watch was collected on 20 July 2009 with the guarantee card showing that famous date

A watch this rare should never be worn only admired

My Timex watch is my everyday timepiece

  • @llandudnoboy

You shouldnt own a watch that you will never wear, it is simply a waste.

  • @Monger4142

I purchased my Speedmaster 50th anniversary coaxial as a long term investment.

I only wish i had known how valuable the Rolex Explorer 1655 Orange Hand i sold last year would become.

I bought it in 1979 for £545 and sold it last year for £14000.

Had it been in mint unworn condition the dealer said he would have given me £18000. It was in superb condition but not mint.

I can admire my Speedmaster but it will never be worn.

  • @Monger4142

To wear such a rare limited Speedmaster would be crazy.

I know it will always retain its value and if kept in unworn condition will be a sound investment being so rare with only 1957 being made.

If i had intended to wear it i would have bought the standard alwys available Speedmaster.

  • Superb

  • Merci pour cette vidéo ami FAMeur, on reconnait la table sur laquelle tu as fait de très belles photos de ta speed ;)

  • Hey, I see you have a Speedy too!

I've considered getting exactly that strap and maybe changing over to it during the fall and winter months, but I've yet to do it. I've had leather straps deteriorate and eventually break on less expensive watches, so I'm kind of hesitant to try it with an Omega. The steel feels very secure to me, you know?

I also really like the look of the dark brown leather straps with this watch. Looks surprisingly cool, despite the colour mismatch. Kind of earthy.

  • @johnnytastetest

Contact Omega and ask them to sell you one of their original issue NASA velcro straps.

I bought one from them and the quality is simply incredible, almost on par with a good leather strap.

You will have to cut it to fit because it was designed for a space suit not the human wrist but it will last many years and certainly longer than a leather strap.

  • I've always been a fan of the Speedmaster on the bracelet but I have to say it looks great on that strap.

  • Absolutely wonderful. It must be a pleasure to own. The design is timeless and the history of this watch is remarkable.
