@musicmama888 I do not know if you have ever heard any Tool music before, but they are known for their strange time signatures and intense syncopation. If you have not, I highly suggest listening to them. The off timing you are speaking of is probably the time signature because these musicians are playing this piece dead on.
I've always preferred instrumental over vocal & I personally think the rendition of this song by the String Quartet is, in all regards, one of the more favored things my ears have had the pleasure of listening to during their time of leisure.
@gujmach I assumed it was Apocalyptica since I searched for their cover of it and this popped up. I recently learnt that it was in fact this amazing band that go around doing these style covers for one band at a time
I think it speaks volumes for the sheer brilliance and creativity of the members of Tool that their music can so easily transcend into the classical genre without so much as a hitch.
finaly only sensible people can be found here not dumb idiots who always argue. Just people with commen sence gotta love it yay no dislikes... well how could u
Gotta love Apocalyptica! They are fantastic at what they do, and they have taken an epic and spiritual tune by the great Tool and turned it into another tune that makes me wish more classical could have spirit!
Outta curiousity, would anyone happen to know where I could get the sheet music for this? A cursory glance at Google didn't reveal anything quite helpful... If anyone could lend at the very least a direction in which to head, that'd be awesome. I know some people who'd like to play this/ other Tool stuffs.
Has a strong tudor feel to it :P

@Xykonaut well I know theres a good chance you'd find sheet music for Tool at Guitar Center, it's for guitar and bass, but I'm sure it would work. :)
There are whole sections of the store dedicated to sheet music books for bands. I'm pretty sure they'd have it there.
