It's silly to say Mariah lip synced. She was putting her hand to her ear to hear herself, you saw her come in and out according to back up singers and she changed up the end. She's just good enough to sound like the record live.
Mariah Carey was live, the background vocals were recorded, But the actual verses were sung live even the last note, listen closely and you hear her exhale at the end of hitting I Stay In Love note. On the recorded track you don't hear it. Also some notes were slighty different which is expected in a live version, therefore this is a 100% live performance by Mariah Carey

Here is how the show went. Beyonce was the best of the night followed by Pink who i think has a great voice. Ne-Yo put on a great perfromance, Coldplay was great, Rihanna was boring her vocals weren't good at all. Mariah Carey sang the first part live and then she lip synced the last part of the song which was the highest part of the song. Nicole Scherzinger looked amazing as usual and thatz it!!!

It's silly to say Mariah lip synced. She was putting her hand to her ear to hear herself, you saw her come in and out according to back up singers and she changed up the end. She's just good enough to sound like the record live.

Mariah Carey was live, the background vocals were recorded, But the actual verses were sung live even the last note, listen closely and you hear her exhale at the end of hitting I Stay In Love note. On the recorded track you don't hear it. Also some notes were slighty different which is expected in a live version, therefore this is a 100% live performance by Mariah Carey

Loved the Beyonce performance. And I really liked her outfit. Kanye West was good but I feel like he cant do good live. He just doesnt have the singing voice for it. Rihanna... If you cant sing all that good atleast dance! Alicia Keys threw down! And I loved seeing Queen rap! Its been so long!

Here is how the show went. Beyonce was the best of the night followed by Pink who i think has a great voice. Ne-Yo put on a great perfromance, Coldplay was great, Rihanna was boring her vocals weren't good at all. Mariah Carey sang the first part live and then she lip synced the last part of the song which was the highest part of the song. Nicole Scherzinger looked amazing as usual and thatz it!!!

Very good review of the show. Totally agree about Rhianna winning the R&B award. the online voting is going to ruin the importance/prestige of the AMA's. As far as Mariah I think parts of her performances are prerecorded and she is very boring! Let the countdown begin on Miley and the Jonas Brothers. Pink was awesome Bey did her thing and Neyo was very impressive Alicia ended the show on a great note because she is the artist of the year despite chris getting the trophy. Great review!

AMA's have always been a fan choice awards event , I don't know where your getting this ABC had anything to do with the winners out come. I thought the whole show was predictable , alot of talent but nothing that would make me want to go out and buy CD's , Maria Carry wasn't the only one lip syncing. If you were paying attention you would have known that Motle Crue where there to present and not receive. The fans have spoken ... congratulations to all the winners.

This wasnt the first time that Kanye won over Wayne, Wayne has been the biggest artist this year, so for him not to get a single award is retarded. As for Miley Cyrus, that was my first time seeing her perform, and I was pleasantly surprised. She had a fun performance. Neyo tore it up, didnt think that Neyo was that much of a showman, but he definetly can do his thing. Beyonce was Beyonce as usual, great performance. And of course Alicia Keys always finds a way to bring down the house.

i LOVEDDDD the show... when i finished watching i was lie WOW THE AWARD SHOW IS BACK! finally cus MTV murdered the award show waccck. I wanted Pink to perform so what but this performance almost moved me to tears so no complaints...SO MANY performances...
